A dog full of yeast!
My 14 year old mini poodle mix has had rashes on her belly, lesions on her back, and black swolen skin around her vulva. After going to 3 different vets for approximately 4 - 5 years where a variety of pharmaceuticals including antibiotics and immunosuppressants were prescribed, the problems were sometimes briefly improved but not resolved. Then she started smelling like yeast! The black skin was spreading and she had lost most of the hair on her tail. We looked up "yeast in dogs" on line where we found pictures of exactly what her skin looked like! One of the websites was Nzymes. We ordered the products and part of the instructions was that it would get worse before it got better. The yeast came out of her paws, around her eyes, her back, her belly, her ears. We bathed her with anti fungal shampoo every 3 days as the yeast was leaving her body. this went on for about 3 months and then her skin and hair went back to normal. her tail is completely covered with beautiful new hair.
