NYTSTNDNYTSTND was founded in 2016 with a simple mission: to put a NYTSTND on every nightstand in the world. What started as one engineer's fascination with wireless power has grown into a premium wireless charging brand handcrafted in Ohio, built on the belief that the way we charge our devices shouldn't be an afterthought - it should be beautiful.Every NYTSTND charger is made from real wood and full-grain leather, designed to look at home on a nightstand, desk, or kitchen counter rather than hidden away like a tangle of cables. We build on Qi2 and MagSafe standards, the same technology Apple, Samsung, and Google are investing in for the future of charging - with fast charging speeds, foreign object detection, and no sleep-disrupting LEDs.Our founder is an electrical engineer who spent decades in software before returning to a lifelong passion for induction and wireless energy transmission. That technical foundation, paired with genuine craftsmanship, is what earned NYTSTND recognition from Forbes as "the most beautiful charger ever made," a partnership with Williams Sonoma, and hundreds of five-star reviews from customers who didn't expect to feel this strongly about a charger. In 2026, we launched ORBE, extending wireless power beyond the bedroom into the kitchen, bathroom, and desk - because we believe wireless charging isn't a downgrade from wired, it's the future. We're building toward a bigger vision of wireless power transfer across everyday life, starting with the one object everyone already reaches for at the end of the day.

The device overheats. I almost got burnt. I used to have the older version of this charger, ordered new one for office. Next thing I know it heated up. Magsafe works and it looks nice, I got a refund but won't purchase from this brand anymore.
