This was the worst spent $4,95 in a long time. Instead of getting good discounts I only got direction to go to the theatre booth. This is worse nothing. Very disappointing and far off from what was advertised.

This review is not based on a genuine experience because this person did not purchase anything from us. They failed to provide any information that correlates to any sale on our website and they imply that they DID make a sale on our website.
We requested that Trustpilot remove this fake review, but they say that their AI has determined that the review is real - despite a total lack of evidence - this person has never visited our website and has not made a purchase.

Terrible attitude
I had been using the website with great success since 2014 and had also told friends to use it when they visited Broadway.
But in 2023, things took a bad turn...I noticed that some offers were outdated or didn't seem to be working correctly. Rather than offer assistance, their tone was aggressive and they suggested "You seem to be quite unhappy with our service, so perhaps you should no longer use us?" before suspending my account with time still left on the subscription.
I did e-mail 2 further times but they failed to respond. In the end, I had to initiate a "chargeback" with my bank, who reversed the subscription payment.
A real shame after almost a decade of regular use. In future, I'll use other free sites - yes, it takes a bit longer to find them, but similar offers are out there, and you don't have to deal with this poor customer service.
**UPDATE FOLLOWING REPLY FROM NYTIX***
They state I went on and on about an offer that did not work that they showed did work - this is simply not true. There may have been multiple offers, but the one in question did not work as it was out of date and it took me a long time of trying to figure out why - they could have just aplogised it was out of date and removed it.
They also state that they asked me to call them and I refused - this is untrue. There was no suggestion whatsoever to call them.
Their final line of "if you want back in, you better call and discuss" - I have no interest in going back to a company that treats its customers with such disdain.

Me to NYTIX:
Hi - I signed up a few weeks ago, but some of your offers seem out of date? Shucked for example - the CORN29 promo apparently only ran during previews which have long since finished. It's a shame to pay for a website for exclusive offers when they are outdated.
NYTIX to me:
We have multiple offer codes for this show - why are you focused on the one that doesn’t work, when the others are clearly working.
What is going on here?
Me to NYTIX:
Nothing is “going on” - I simply enquired as it just seems like the offers aren’t being updated / reviewed regularly.
You listed multiple offers and so I wanted to try them all to see if any were better than others. When I couldn’t get that one to work I thought there was a problem with the browser or what I was clicking, and had to spend time finding out myself from the company that it was only applicable during previews.
I have used your site for many years and was simply getting in touch with feedback, for “customer service” you have a terrible attitude.
Further to this – I’ve just tried using a promo code listed on your site for SeatGeek, and it says it’s invalid?
NYTIX to me:
You didn’t tell me what date you are going to this show - Not sure you are doing, but that offer IS working - you don’t use a promo code - just use the link - the code is embedded.
You seem to be quite unhappy with our service, so perhaps you should no longer use us? I see you have been using our service since 2014, so we are sorry to see you go.
Me to NYTIX:
What kind of business are you running?! I brought to your attention a perfectly legitimate query originally and you were rude in your response.
I then query something that doesn’t appear to be working, hoping for a bit of assistance and instead you say I should stop using your website (which as you note, I’ve been a customer of very happily for 9 years) and I see you’ve suspended my account, even though it still has a week to run!
Me to NYTIX:
Are you going to re-instate my account so I can continue to use it until expiry?

James claimed that our offer for Shucked did not work - but we were able to show him our offer did work - and we sent him the screenshots to prove it. We asked him to call us to resolve, but he refused.
Just how much work do we have to put in with a troubled customer? There has to be a limit - and we think James may have reached it. He is still welcome to call and we can still resolve it- its still not too late James!!!! C'mon James give us a call! We waiting! Still waiting!
We have every right to respond to your false and derogatory posts and if you think by adding another false review is going to turn the temperature down, then you are very wrong. I suggest you delete your multiple fake reviews and we go our separate ways, otherwise we will continue to defend our position. You started this. so you can end it too.

After paying $4.95 I found the…
After paying $4.95 I saw the Broadway discount week codes on Facebook available without this company.
Requested a refund and the customer service rep was so rude and refused a refund. Stated " If I buy a car at a dealership and then my neighbor wants to give me their car for free, no dealership is going to give me a refund"
Really
Didn't actually buy anything but look below and you can see how they react to criticism.
Publishing names, interesting tactics, all for $4.95.
BTW, they have changed their reply many times. Recently they deleted my name and now accusing me of lying. Ok then. Your replies speak for themselves.
Wonder why this is in their terms? Haven't seen this before?

JR believes she should not have to pay for our service because she found our discount offer code posted illegally on another website.
As our service worked perfectly for her, we are not going to bullied into doing a refund. Its bad enough that our offer was stolen in the first place, but when people like JR to capitalize on that, it adds injury to insult. It may have been JR who put it on Facebook in the first place, so that makes her a scammer.

The moment JR started disparaging our organization here means that she broke our terms of service and got booted from our service.

Discount code for Harry Potter is invalid
I spent $4.95 for access for codes to Harry Potter. The code according to their web site was valid for the day we wanted to go to the show, Feb 16th. However when I tried to use the code the theater website says it is invalid. I've requested a refund, which they denied me. They are now posting a new response to this review every few weeks.
4/1/24 Update: Wow, now says I keep posting new reviews, nope, just posted the 1st one way back in November. However I am getting almost daily emails saying they are posting a new response to the review.
Response from New York Show Tickets Inc. NYTIXNov 30, 2023
Colleen had a problem with our Harry Potter discount offer, but she chose to make a complaint here rather than use a one-time use discount code that we would have supplied to her that would have provided the discount that we listed. Her actions broke our terms of service.
Trustpilot has changed their policy and they now prioritize negative reviews at the top, which is a pretty disgusting way of doing business as it makes it appear that we have more negative reviews than we have in reality. This is done to get more hits.

Scam Indeed
Scam Indeed. I used them once. After a week of using them and none of their codes were working and the ones that worked you could find online for free, I wrote a negative review. They read my review and blocked my account even before my month was up. I called them and the guy said I needed to take my review down for them to reimburse me. I never did, so my account remained blocked and didn't get my $5 back.
Reply to their Reply!
I tried to keep using it because I had paid for the service. I don't have to like it. Plus I never got a chance to buy anything on your site. You told me you'd reimburse me if I take down my post. So I told you to keep the money. You guys are such liars and crooks!
You can defend all you want, your site is a scam. If I pay for a service and I don't like it, I have a right to complain. You can't cancel my membership mid month and not reimburse me. If you want positive reviews, then do better! You saw my negative review and then immediately canceled my membership. That's just vengeful and childful. A proper business would investigate how you can do better to remedy the situation. Instead, you threatened to ban me for life if I don't take my post down, as if I'll ever waste my money again on your site.
Response from New York Show Tickets Inc. NYTIXOct 27, 2023
Shingy is a bit of a hypocrite, as she complained on Yelp and on here about our service, but then still carried on still using our service - many, many times. You cant have it both ways! If it was that bad, why on earth would you keep using it?
We see that they even went on to purchase tickets to a Broadway show using our discount code and then failed to mention that in their review. All-around, their actions broke our terms of service. Who needs customers like this?
Trustpilot has changed their policy and they now they prioritize negative reviews at the top of their page, which is a pretty disgusting way of doing business as it makes it appear that we predominately have negative reviews.

Waste of $4.95
Waste of $4.95. They have a 'discount' code that doesn't work. Tried it for Harry Potter in NYC and it was an invalid code.
Update: their codes have terms & conditions that are limited so be careful and read all information before you buy their membership. After further investigation their codes are available free on other websites so I still wouldn't buy the membership.
Response from New York Show Tickets Inc. NYTIXAug 23, 2023
Shaun knows that we have a great discount offer for Harry Potter (50% discount off tickets), but we specifically stated that the Harry Potter discount offer works for shows between Sept 5th - Sept 17th, 2023.
Shaun is trying to use our offer for a performance of Harry Potter on August 26th, 2023, which is clearly outside of the listed offer window, Jeez.
Shaun's local time zone is down in Medellin, Colombia and that may be different from New York's EST, but the dates are always the same. When questioned about this Shaun gets defensive about his location.
Shaun, please explain how it is our fault if the offer does not work outside the dates we list.
Shaun then attempted to blackmail us by stating that we would remove his negative review is we sent him money. Now this just graduated from complaint to consumer fraud.
For everyone else, we have a great discount offer on Harry Potter Tickets, but it is only good between Sept 5th and September 17th, 2023, just as we listed it on our website.
What makes things worse is that Sean posted this negative review and never even bothered to contact us about his problem. We provided the offer EXACTLY as we stated, then why would a refund be due? We do give refunds, but not for false accusations with consumer fraud attached.
Trustpilot has changed their policy and they prioritize negative reviews, which is a pretty disgusting way of doing business as it makes it appear that we have a lot of negative reviews.

DO NOT use this company
DO NOT use this company. I paid the one time fee in full faith that I could get tickets at a better rate than they are advertised online. The site pledges to offer "exclusive codes" once I paid and these codes were unlocked, THEY WERE THE SAME PUBLIC DISCOUNT CODES readily available on ALL BROADWAY sites for broadway week in NYC. I asked for a refund right away on the grounds of being misled their refund policy even states that there are no refunds UNLESS "unless the guide was somehow incorrect, erroneous, or misleading in some way." They are VERY misleading. DO NOT USE THEM
**THEY ALSO SAID I USED THE CODE AND I DID NOT so they are also liars **
You can also clearly see by this snarky response they are literally horrible and rude to deal with - I have never seen a business reply to customer reviews this way. I have also filed a complaint to the BBB.
Response from New York Show Tickets Inc. NYTIXJan 19, 2023
Once in a while, one of our Broadway discount codes finds its way onto illegal websites. This does not mean that we do not bring our users the very best offers, but there is a possibility that one of our codes may be on a free website.
With the free sites, you get what you pay for, right? And Juliana loves free! Free Free Free!
At nytix.com we take the time to negotiate, research and collate all our Broadway discounts for our clients and remain the no.1 Broadway discount ticket offer clearing house.
Juliana Zepeda believes that she should not have to pay $4.95 for our service, even though we provided EXACTLY what we were contracted to do - that is, bring her the very best working Discount Broadway ticket offer for Hamilton on Broadway, which she went ahead and used, but still complained about. You just cant make some people happy.
The BBB will look at her complaint and say "Say what?" You purchased something, it worked and now you are complaining about it, despite it doing exactly what it said it would?
Using Juliana's warped ethos, water bottles should be free (because water comes out of the tap for free), supermarket groceries should be free (because you can get them at the food bank for free) and newspapers should be free because you can get all your news at cnn.com
GRABINSKI GROUP REVIEW:
The work done by the Grabinksi Group should also be free because ugly bathrooms and cheesy living rooms can also be found at Ikea for free.
You may also expect to see Juliana complaining to her AC guy this Summer, because cold air is always free in the Winter and there is no way she should have to pay for it! She wants free! Give her free now! Free Free Free!
At NYTIX We also like to help our clients choose the best Broadway seats and give advice on how to use our discount codes. Our phone lines are always available for our clients as a free concierge service - your friend in the ticket business to help you choose seats and get the best discounts. Juliana Zepeda is no longer welcome.
Perhaps Juliana should see if Ticketmaster will help her with that now - seeing as they just closed down all their telephone lines - Boy, they must really hate their customers. Maybe The Grabinksi Group should do the same.

False advertising, terrible service
They advertised a discount they didn't have. Their FAQ says they will refund if this happens, but the guy answering their customer service emails made fun of me for asking. Will need to do a chargeback.
Response from New York Show Tickets Inc. NYTIXOct 3, 2022
You cannot make everyone happy all the time. We gave Phil an excellent discount ticket offer to Beetlejuice tickets, but he is still angry about something......what that is we are not exactly sure.
BTW For everyone else, Beetlejuice closes on January 8, 2023, so ticket inventory may be lower than usual, but our discount offer is still valid and working for our range of posted dates, but that window is closing fast as the show has seen an uptick in ticket sales.
We still haven't seen the chargeback Phil! Where is it? Still waiting in 2024 Phil.
This show is now closed so this is now all history
Trustpilot has changed their policy and they now prioritize negative reviews at the top, which is a pretty disgusting way of doing business as it makes it appear that all we have is negative reviews.
Still waiting for the chargeback Phil 02/29/24
