NuVet customer for almost 12 years & aiming for more decades
I've been purchasing NuVet products since December 2012. I first started giving our 10 lb. elderly male Poodle the NuVet Plus vitamins. He was literally a few days from dying due to advanced kidney disease. We were already injecting saline solution daily under the skin on his shoulders (sometimes called "canine dialysis"). I explored the internet to find anything else we could do to save him. That's when I discovered NuVet. From the moment we started giving him the NuVet Plus, he started regaining his health. No, it didn't cure his kidney disease because there's no cure for that. Through its B vitamins plus the other ingredients, it restored his health enough for him to gain back the 1.5 lb. he lost while so ill. We continued the saline solution injections. NuVet gave us 10 more precious months with our boy. However, we had to put him on the path to cross the rainbow bridge when his quality of life declined due to the progression of his kidney disease. Although I swore that I would never get another fur baby, we adopted our little 5 lb. rescue Poodle 2 years and 2 months later. She had a genetic hip disorder that the National Mill Dog Rescue got a veterinarian to surgically fix. We decided to not only give her the NuVet Plus but also the NuJointDS. A vet once told me that a dog should be able to get all of its nutritional needs from dog food. That may be true if the dog eats everything in the dish on a daily basis. However, our little one eats more sometimes than other times. She never eats a full dish at one time even though we keep human-grade kibble in her dish 24/7. (Also, our boy wasn't getting all of the vitamins he needed even though we were giving him the best quality of food on the market at that time.) Our little girl is in great health at age 9. She gets 1/4th of a tab of each twice each day. We call them treats, and she loves the flavor. NuVet exceeds our personal standards of what we expect in a company: quality products and professional attitudes/actions.
