On the advice of a good breeder friend, we started using Nuvet Plus 10 years ago. I was initially sold when I saw the big difference it made in our newborn pups with respect to birth weight and activity at birth. They just seemed healthier. We noticed that some of our adults whose coats were fading actually darkened back up, and Nuvet was the only change we had made. While feeding dry kibble is convenient, the high temperatures used to form the kibble, unfortunately, destroy a lot of the nutritional value, minerals, and vitamins. Vaccines are a necessary evil, but they do cause the immune system to take a big hit. Vaccines are most effective if the immune system can respond properly. We recommend Nuvet Plus for puppies and adult dogs.
