They sent me Corey Taylor tech he said in his report to the warranty company. He just assume the garage door motor burned because of the power usage. It is a joke this company look like a scammer, the warranty company hired them to denial claims.

Though the representatives I spoke with on the phone (Astrid and Josh) were pleasant, the actual customer service and follow-through were extremely disappointing. Over the course of 7 days, **#1 Garage Door cancelled or failed to show for TWO scheduled appointments**, both of which had been communicated and confirmed by text. Meanwhile, my garage door remained unusable due to a broken torsion spring. After the second missed appointment, I called for the **third time** expecting the situation to be escalated and corrected. Instead, I was told the soonest available appointment was **another 9 days away**. That would mean potentially going **18 days with a broken garage door** because of their scheduling failures. I specifically asked to speak with a manager or have the issue escalated. I was told that the additional 9-day wait was **the resolution management had approved** and that it was the best they could do. I then asked whether they could contact the local service company directly and expedite the appointment given the two previous missed appointments. I was informed that the local company is actually **#1 Garage Door itself, not a subcontractor**—yet they still could not offer anything sooner. To summarize: **two cancelled/no-show appointments over 7 days, followed by management approving another 9-day wait as their solution.** I contacted another garage door service provider, explained the situation, and they were able to schedule service **for the very next day**. Being friendly on the phone does not make up for repeatedly missing appointments and then expecting the customer to wait another 9 days for a problem the company failed twice to address. **Based on this experience and especially the lack of meaningful customer service when things went wrong, I CANNOT RECOMMEND #1 Garage Door.**

I had a very frustrating experience with #1 Garage Door Company. A technician initially came out for one issue but then submitted a quote for additional work. My insurance claim was denied, and I spent considerable time going back and forth with the insurance company while the technician provided me with a direct quote. Eventually, the insurance company agreed to provide a goodwill credit toward the repairs, and I was informed that the company was working on scheduling the work. After that, communication basically stopped. There were no follow-ups, no updates, and no proactive outreach from the company. When I finally called to check on the status, I was told that the price had increased because additional parts were now needed. This was never clearly communicated beforehand and came as a complete surprise after I had already gone through the effort of resolving the insurance issues. Overall, I found the process to be unprofessional, poorly managed, and lacking transparency. Better communication, follow-through, and honoring previously provided quotes would have gone a long way toward creating a positive customer experience. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this company based on my experience.

This company does not want to call me back.I've asked for the owner to give me a call back.But he has been non responsive, and I guess all the employees have been fired and I would never use this garage.Door company?Because why your warranty will be denied ninety eight percent of the time.If you're looking for a garage or a company for your garage door do not call this company

All I needed was to replace my Spring on my garage door however, the repairman try to rip me off overcharging me for stuff that don’t need to be done. The repairman state that the #1 Garage requires him place all new parts before installing new springs. However it was nothing wrong with parts he wanted to replace. The garage door is only three years old. My home is only 3 years old. It would cost me out-of-pocket $1339.00 that with me using my Home Shield insurance. Integrity my 🤬. Smh

for Charlotte business: #1 Garage Door LLC was dispatched through my home warranty service to replace a worn garage door opener belt. From the start, their behavior was unprofessional and seemed more focused on upselling unnecessary repairs than addressing the actual issue. They refused to replace the opener belt unless I first agreed to replace my rollers — an unrelated and unnecessary step. When I declined their overpriced recommendations (which were nearly three times what others quoted), they falsely reported to my home warranty company that I refused service, and my claim was abruptly cancelled. The technician was rude, dismissive, and clearly uninterested in helping once I declined the upsell. It felt like a setup to either overcharge or cancel the job altogether. This company is not trustworthy. If you're looking for honest and professional service, stay far away from #1 Garage Door LLC. They are not there to help — they are there to take advantage.
