I owed 39K, and hadn’t filed my taxes since 2008. By 2015, I couldn’t have a bank account, and the IRS had placed liens on my social security number, so I couldn’t buy a home either. NTC filed my taxes to date, then placed me into a full hardship program, and the majority of the debt didn’t have to be repaid. Then, two years later, NTC placed the small amount of debt that remained into a 6 year payment plan. Now, I pay just $190/month, and the liens have all been lifted. I can now buy a home, and i can file my taxes knowing that I won’t owe going forward, because NTC also showed me how to restructure my self-employment taxes so I don’t again.
