They actually use paid services to…
They actually use paid services to threaten customers.
Response from Northwest Registered AgentAug 20, 2024
Hi, Quantus. Are you sure you’re reviewing the right company? We don’t threaten our customers and don’t pay third party service providers to interact with our customers at all. Through decades of doing business, we’ve never even sent a client to a collections agency for not paying a bill. That’s just not how we do business. Our stellar customer support staff is completely in-house and fully-dedicated to delivering a positive client experience.

one of the worst services out there
one of the worst services out there. they will not mail you the documents, they will not answer any phone call, and layers of fees/hidden fees. AVOID AT ANY COST. They do not provide any business address verification, so their services are not suitable for selling on Amazon or eBay or Walmart. Also NO REPLY TO EMAILS or answer to any calls.
Response from Northwest Registered AgentAug 20, 2024
Ouch! We're very sorry that you feel so strongly about our services and have not had the best experience. We are proud to provide secure Mail Forwarding services at an affordable rate to thousands of U.S. businesses. Our mail forwarding services are digital mail forwarding in which we securely upload client mail to their online accounts on the same day it is received. Clients can then download, save and print their mail if they wish. In situations where clients need the physical original copy of their mail, we are able to forward the original document for an additional shipping and handling charge due to the costs we incur. Also as far as address verification, when customers utilize our mail services we can provide verification for companies such as Amazon and others but we cannot be used as a return shipping address for packages. We hope that clears up any confusion on that. And we try to be as responsive as possible to customer inquiries so we're truly sorry you have had a hard time reaching us. Just to ensure you have the correct contact information for us: [email protected] or call us at 509-768-2249. And based on the information in this review, we'll be trying to locate your account and follow up with you directly.

30 N Gould St Sheridan WY 82801
I wanted to use this company for their Wyoming Registered Agent service. Northwest Registered Agent is doing business at 30 N Gould St Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801 under Northwest Registered Agent Service Inc, Northwest Registered Agent LLC, and JM Spear. On July 17, 2023 The Sheridan Press printed an article about fraudulent Wyoming registered agents using this address. I was surprised to see Northwest Registered Agent using this sub-prime location for it's Wyoming Registered Agent service. Also, they charge their customers $125.00 per year for this service but most registered agents at the 30 N Gould St only charge $25.00-$50.00 per year for the same service.
Response from Northwest Registered AgentMay 15, 2024
Hi Lisa, we have utilized a unique suite number at this location for over a decade and have provided premium Registered Agent and business formation service to millions of satisfied customers. Our Registered Agent Service costs $125 a year because of our stellar customer service (every client gets their own expert Corporate Guide®), our dedication to building our own secure software and developing services unique to us so that we can protect our clients’ data (which we never sell—ever). The Sheridan Press article you’re referencing isn’t about the quality of Registered Agent services provided at this address, and it isn’t focused on Northwest at all. We hope you will still consider using our services if you need a Registered Agent in Wyoming.

Seems fraudulent
This was my first time using this company. I paid for a virtual office which cost $29, however when i logged into their dashboard, there was no address for this virtual office. When you click on their live chat button, you get this "Hey there! If it's between the hours of 6am-4pm PST, we're assisting other clients and someone will be available soon! You can also reach us at (email address not allowed on trust pilot ) or by phone at 509-768-2249". There is no place to type a message on the live chat, it just displays that message. I called the number multiple times and it said not reachable. Sent emails but no one has responded till now. There is a button to cancel your order HOWEVER, when you cancel, the record of that service disappears, and you do not get a refund, which is strange because since it is a monthly fee, it should show the days you have left for the supposed service. I quickly contacted my bank to cancel and dispute the transaction. It all seemed strange because they seem quite known. My recommendation is try to call and speak with them before you make any purchases with them.

Hi, we apologize that you had a bad experience signing up for our Virtual Office services. Because everyone receives a personal suite number, it can take up to 1-2 business days, but your review makes us realize that isn’t as clear as it should be after you signed up. Thank you! We are definitely going to improve upon our processes going forward. Our Customer Care team has reached out to you via email to initiate the refund process.

Obviously not to be trusted with something so important. I mean c’mon.
I don't have to make the mistake of using this scammer to know they are a scammer. Read the part on their website how your registered address is AUTOMATICALLY listed as theirs. Why would you want someone else to get your mail? They tell you it’s not offered as an option it is done automatically. They even end the paragraph with “It’s just that simple.” Gotta hand it to them they came up with a good scam. You can even imagine their shady smile as they explain it to their buddies. “And then I get their mail so if they want to know anything they have to go thru me! Its just - that - simple!” I would advise anyone to read the website. You do that and you should know not to work with these people.
Response from Northwest Registered AgentMay 1, 2024
Hi Pedro, we’re a Registered Agent Service that receives service of process (legal notices) and other official state mail on behalf of our clients. It’s an ordinary business practice and a state requirement, not a scam. You can be your own Registered Agent, and that just means that your address will show up on your state filings as the registered agent address. Or, you can protect your privacy by hiring Northwest and using our address on your state filings. We find that our clients value their privacy, and we’re happy to help. It’s just that simple.

Not reliable, don't risk your business
The portal is frustratingly slow and often requires multiple refreshes to function properly. Additionally, the billing process is overly complicated and confusing. I initially attempted to cancel my service and even disputed the charge with my bank. However, I canceled the dispute when they finally registered my LLC. Despite this, they canceled my services a week later, citing an issue with receiving payment from my bank. I have now reopened the dispute with my bank to recover my funds. now I have to pay (filing fee) $55 to change the agent unless they hold any document they receive. they don't answer emails for support and call is 50/50 chance that you would connect with them.
Response from Northwest Registered AgentApr 24, 2024
Hi Naser, unfortunately we weren’t able to locate your account to look into this situation further. It’s possible that the charge dispute may have flagged something with your bank causing us to not be able to receive the payment due. We’re glad to hear that your LLC was formed but sounds like we still need to work through some of issues you're experiencing. We pride ourselves on being responsive and responding to every email although that may take time. Can you please try to reach out to us again so we can provide you with the assistance you need?
