Their customer service is too much slower. They asked for address documents 10 days ago and submitted on same days. But not getting any progress. I do not recommend them if you want smooth services.

Very bad service wiht Northwest Registered Agent - I have been chasing them for over 2 weeks for a refund, and they have ignored all requestes, even though they did not do what I had paid for them. I get a standard email from them, sayign they received my email, but never reply. My next steps is raising a fraud chargeback with my credit card, which is disappointing. Their system also keeps crashing. I am looking at changing registered agents. I have 3 entities.

I signed up with Northwest Registered Agent expecting a smooth, professional experience for my new LLC. Their marketing heavily advertises “free website hosting” as a major benefit. What they conveniently hide is that you must transfer your domain to them in order to use this so-called “free” hosting. After foolishly following their instructions and initiating the transfer, I discovered that: My already-configured ProtonMail business email was completely broken. I had to reconfigure everything from scratch. The domain transfer locks you out for 5+ days. This is not “free hosting” — this is a classic bait-and-switch. They lure you in with the promise of free hosting, then force you into a painful domain transfer that creates unnecessary problems and downtime for your new business. Extremely poor transparency and borderline deceptive practices. I would have gladly paid for proper hosting somewhere else instead of dealing with this headache. Save yourself the frustration and avoid Northwest Registered Agent. Their “free” services come with expensive hidden costs in time and stress.

Dealing with Northwest to set up an LLC and get an EIN and to use as a registered agent, was like dealing with The Keystone Kops, (a fictional troupe of bumbling, incompetent, and highly energetic policemen featured in silent film slapstick comedies between 1912 and 1917). They were pleasant on the phone but very unknowlwdgable and sent me off in the wrong direction repeatedly. This review ask for a single date, but what should be at most one interaction as drug on for weeks - so no one date or one individual. I put the date of last email asking for my money back that I paid for them to get my EIN for me. after weeks I just went and got it myself.

Northwest registered agent website waits for you to purchase a plan to later tackle-on extra fees, so the service is not completed until the additional fees are paid.

What Northwest did well: They helped me get my LLC stood up. Where they failed: They did not dissolve my business when I requested, resulting in 3 years of "out of status" with the state. During this time, I did not get any communications from Northwest about being out of status, and they did not close my account when I requested. When I asked them about making up for their errors, they said I had to hire a CPA to bring my business back into good standing with the State. Which was false. I filed the missing reports with the State myself at a cost of $927 -- which I would not have owed had Northwest done their job. Plus the $103 I had to pay for Reinstatement so that I can dissolve the entity. When I pulled out the email where I asked them to dissolve the business and that I had already filed the reports, and said I would not be paying 3 separate invoices that were outstanding, they wrote back and said, "that's fine," and they closed my account with them as well as all of the invoices. Not once did they ever own up to be culpable or for failing. Nor did they offer to refund the $1030 that I incurred due to their negligence.

Several issues with this company regarding their phone service. It is only $9 but the issue is they will erroneously cut off the service and cause major problems for your business, where you cannot reach customers and no one can call you. This happened to me on 2 occasions and when you call about the customer service is horrible. They could care less they act like you are the problem. The first time it happened was resolved in a day the 2nd time it was off all weakened because they cut it off on a Friday evening. This is ridiculous this low-cost service cut off with no warning. Also, the email said it is cut off for nonpayment which I paid the account it was an error. Even if this was true I did not receive any notice of this they just randomly cut off the phone. Completely unprofessional over $9 this is absurd unheard they do not value their customers.
