So many of my patients struggle with incontinence and often need to change strategies after a hospitalization. I love Booster liners! The only medical supplier in town that carried them switched to an inferior, less absorbent brand. NorthShore sent some NorthShore samples and I will be doing an inservice with other O.T.'s on the benefits to patients for short or long term use. I will also demonstrate the Rose long handled hygiene wipe, (which is a very good price), the NorthShore Slip-on undergarments, and Fresh Sacks. The Slip-ons look Iike they would be easier to put on over feet with a long-handled reacher than regular pull-ups. An O.T. can help with incontinence management and pelvic muscle strengthening in the hospital, rehab settings, and in the home if the person is homebound. Families, caregivers, ask your doctor for an Rx for Home Health O.T.--a hospitalization is not required to start service!
