We are sorry to hear that your pup was not feeling well! Some pups are more sensitive and do need a longer transition to mitigate digestive upset. We hope that he has been feeling better since. Unfortunately, upon checking your account we see that you had selected to skip orders and skipping orders is not the same as canceling your subscription. Because of this, a refund is not applicable since we were not notified of changes you wanted to make to your subscription. Nommers can cancel their subscription at any time in their account. We do send emails giving delivery updates and to check in on how their Nommer is doing to give them time to make changes to their account before their order change deadline. We wish the best for you and your pup moving forward and hope you find a diet that is suitable for him.

Foods great! If only my dogs could eat the hundreds of dollars of food per order. unbelievable and extremely frustrating. Wasting this food (which is great as long as it doesn't get submerged in water) which is the only adequate way to quickly thaw as a night in the fridge its still frozen and on the counter over night it gets room temp for to long. The cheapest plastic for packaging all to save a penny turns out it WASTE THE FOOD. The plastic is so cheap it break 50% of the time I simply place it in warm water. No stirring, no pressing or pushing. Just placing it in water to thaw. Pick it up 1 hour later the bag is filled with water and the food is soaked and soggy. Then my dog won't eat it. How do you come up with a million dollar idea and screw it up over the packaging? I understand its cheaper but if it ruins the products doesn't it void the purpose all together? -side note. Food is good if its thawed and not drowning in water. My dogs love it. But spending this kind of money and wasting so much has turned me away from nom nom compleltely. If you can't wrap your product with the intent for use, you have no business being in business. I spent over $500 total for just over a month worth of food. Maybe will be able to use $300 of it givin bags breaking. It is expensive enough without this bs. So my wife and I decided to hit the grocery store. We are making our own "nom nom" for 20% of the price every 3 days never frozen and no headache. So I owe nom nom a thank you for guiding the way. This rating is a 1 even though I believe the food is a 5. BUT if you can't eat the food well then. Doesnt matter how great it was once ruined. Sad, cuz if quality was used in packaging like the product I'd be ordering another month right now vs cooking for them. Thanks Nom Nom!

I was a big fan of nom nom and so was my dog. A few months ago my 13.5 year old dog starting getting uti's and her kidney levels were off. The doctor is now pulling her off nom nom as he says the amount of protein is so high for her age , I wish they would of followed up with us, and I think anyone with an elder dog should tripple check with their vet.

Thanks for the feedback and sorry to hear of your dog’s diagnosis. First and foremost we’re glad you found the right diet to manage your dog. Our diets are moderate to high in protein and senior dogs typically benefit from such diets to maintain muscle mass. It’s a common misconception that elevated protein leads to kidney disease in dogs. There’s no evidence of such a link, but when kidney disease is diagnosed then a low phosphorus diet may be appropriate in later stages. Urinary tract infections are common in dogs that develop kidney disease because they lose the ability to concentrate urine and makes them more susceptible. We do encourage all Nommers to check bloodwork and their veterinarians advice frequently, and of course nom nom as a maintenance diet is not appropriate for all medical conditions. We hope to offer therapeutic diets in the future as we do know there are a range of conditions like kidney disease that benefit from a custom diet solution. We thank you for your time as a customer and hope to be able to serve you again in the future.

Hi Tanis, Thank you for taking time to share your feedback with us. I'm seeing that we reached out after your filled out your pup's health survey, to convey our concern about dietary implications of their medical condition, and to note that we'd frozen your account until you were able to review our diet with your vet. Unfortunately, in this case, we cannot ship the trial until we receive a response. We do apologize for your unexpected experience, and will be happy to offer you further support if you need it.

THE SHORT STORY: BEWARE, THEY ARE COMPLETELY UNETHICAL I decided to try the cat food when I came across a teaser on their website of 50% off the first order. Up until then, I'd been feeding my cat the Tiki Cat raw food which he loved, but the store that carries it is out of the way and I was looking for the convenience of something that could be delivered. This was a trial offer and I did not agree to any type of auto ship program, which I absolutely never do. Upon receipt of the order, I began by slowly introducing the Nom Nom cat food. Unfortunately, it did not appeal to my cat, and he even vomited a few times after eating it. This was no big deal until I received an email from Nom Nom stating that they were preparing to send another order. I immediately responded with a request to discontinue, and stated that I do not wish to receive more of the food. I still had a freezer full of the original order! They handled the situation terribly, and claimed that it was too late to cancel. They ran an unauthorized charge to my credit card for $93.85 when the order had not even been shipped. It is now three weeks later. They never even sent the cat food, and they refuse to refund my money. LOOK THEM UP ON BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU - THIS COMPANY HAS AN "F" RATING

Hi Lauren, We're sorry that Nom Nom wasn't the best fit for your cat. As we are a subscription service, we explicitly state the date of your following delivery after you sign up for your trial, and your deadline for cancelling. We're glad to have been able to refund your charge, and wish you the best in finding a diet that your cat really loves.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My two Giant Schnauzer puppies will not eat the beef mash or chicken chow, the only two meals I ordered. I could not figure out how to cancel my subscription, so I skipped as many as their system would allow only for nom nom to resume shipping as soon as they possibility could. I called and they refused to stop the shipment or refund my money, forcing me to initiate a charge back with my bank.

Hi Corliss, We're sorry that Nom Nom wasn't the best fit for your pups. When a delivery is updated in a Nom Nom account (such as an order skip), a notification appears that states the account is still active and that an order will place after the skipped deliveries. Additionally, Nom Nom accounts can be cancelled at any time and we always encourage our Nommers to reach out to our dedicated Care Team if they're unsure or need assistance. That being said, we apologize for any confusion or miscommunication. Unfortunately, when you called us, we had already prepared your order, and thus were unable to cancel it at that time. We do hope you have found a diet that really works for your pups!

Used Nom Nom for a few months for my two dogs -- one is a puppy and the other an older dog that is calorie restricted due to being overweight. I bought a scale to verify the grams because the packages did not look like consistent portions and I was right -- it was all over the place. I complained once and was sent a bag of treats. My 110 gram packages went anywhere from 93 grams to 125 grams and my 175 gram packages went anywhere from 160ish to 196. The chunks of carrots seemed uncooked or undercooked and rubbery and would come out as solid chunks in their waste -- so they weren't being digested. It was upsetting their tummies. I had to use a food processor to blend it into a consistency that could be digested. I had a $500 vet bill for the puppy for her upset stomach. Needless to say I canceled explaining to them the portion discrepancy and the undigested food and upset tummy but the vet visit hadn't happened yet at that time. For over $220 per month I expected better. I addressed all of these issues in my cancellation email and they addressed none of the issues in their response which is below... Dec 18, 2020, 10:35 AM PST Hi (my name), Thank you for contacting us today! We are very sorry to hear that you would like to cancel your subscription with us!
