I tried nomnomnow for a month now with my two cats. Ones a kitten and other is 3 years old and both were put on the same amount of calories which isn’t correct. My babies do not like all the veggies. There is so many in the chicken recipe, they don’t even digest it. The carrots and asparagus come out whole in their poops. And they get bad diarrhea. Worst of all is can’t get a refund because it’s a trial and I had to throw away all the food because it was turning a nasty green-yellow color in the freezer.

Packages are not evenly filled
Packages are not evenly filled. On several occasions packages have half the amount than the regular portions. I have concerns.

Thank you for your feedback! Any inconsistency in meal sizes or issues with the recipe is certainly not up to our standards as the health and happiness of our Nommers is absolutely our number one priority so we’re sorry if this was your experience. Looking into your account history, it is showing that you had elected for half portions and 1 meal per day in October which resulted in smaller sized meals. I hope this helps clarify what you may be seeing! If you would like to change back to how your kitty’s orders were originally set up, please do contact us at [email protected] so we can help make the changes in your account and ensure your fur baby is receiving the intended amount of portions. If you are noticing any other sort of problem, we’d love to learn more as we want to ensure that we are providing only the highest quality of fresh food meals and service to you and your furry one. We are always here to help!

I have been using this food delivery…
I have been using this food delivery service for my dog for a few months. At first I was extremely happy dog loved it and it was so much easier to feed him now. I had been making his food and even though it is less expensive it was very time consuming.
The last few deliveries have not been good at all. Potato peels in the beef variety and raw uncooked rice in the turkey. Got to the point where my dog can't and won't eat it. He has a heart problem and according to the vet the potato peels can cause serious health issues. For the money you spend to have this service the food quality control should be better.
I am really disappointed customer service is great, food was great in the beginning but then the quality went down hill. I hope they get this fixed they did have a great product and their customer service is absolutely A+. Hannah was amazing.

Thank you so much for your note and we hope you'll allow us to ease your concerns. The mature brown skin of potato is highly digestible and a rich source of trace minerals and other nutrients. Uncooked green potato skins and potato shoots may in very large doses be problematic, but rest assured we only use human-grade potatoes of restaurant quality that are free of these portions. Please know there is no evidence that potato skins of this type are a problem and, in fact, can contain an even more diverse set of nutrients than the white part of potato itself. We're glad to know you've felt supported by Hannah and we encourage you to reach out to us directly at [email protected] if you have any other concerns. Please know all our recipes have been formulated by board-certified veterinary nutritionist, Dr. Justin Shmalberg who, on top of being a veterinarian, has received specialized education and is a leader in the field of animal nutrition :)

Food great, service TERRIBLE…
The food is amazing- don’t get me wrong but the customer service is awful. This food is not cheap and after ordering an entire month for a large dog it was delayed in arrival by 5 days past the expected delivery date. The food all had to be tossed. When I contacted customer service they said they were going to refund my money and reship. Not only was my money not refunded without a second follow up call from me, they also billed me for the automatic renewal and I still hadn’t received any food!!! This was all after I had already weaned my dog off his old food into Nom Nom already. During the mix up I had buy a completely different dry food at a local store while away with our pooch. Talk about stomach issues. Additionally they shipped a small order, which I gather was to serve as emergency hold over while the bigger order was reshipped. Problem is they never told me it was coming and shipped it to my house while we were away, so more food ended up in the garbage. I still wish they would have offered any type of discount or offer for all the trouble but because they refused, I can’t be a regular customer of this company.

We are sincerely for any misunderstanding and mix-ups on our end. We certainly want our customers to experience top-notch customer service and are sorry to hear you did not feel supported. Based on your feedback, we will be taking the necessary steps to ensure we have proper internal communication so our Nommers are always taken care of as well as better communication directly with out customers so mix-ups like this don't happen again. Thank you for taking the time to write and your valuable feedback.

Better than dry kibble, but a few things to be aware of...
The food is OK & definitely better than kibble, but negatives... 1) they don't want you to cancel or pause your subscription, so you do NOT get a reminder for charges / delivery. If you want to make a change, you need to keep track of when the order is going through (which in the case of the second month be aware is only 3 weeks out). If you get behind on using the meals, expect your freezer to fill w/ food, as if you try to cancel after the charge goes through, even before food is sent, they won't allow it as they've already prepared food "just for YOUR dog". 2) at $150 / month it's expensive for what you get. some simple food prep and you could make this for yourself for a fraction of the cost. 3) plastic ... too much non-recyclable packaging from the daily meals for me to feel good about throwing away. 4) be sure to check with your vet before switching to this.

We are so sorry if you had a poor experience! We certainly want to ensure feeding fresh is as easy as possible so we include order deadlines and all the information about your deliveries directly in your NomNomNow account. As you noted, we do kindly ask our Nommers to make changes prior to the deadline as we purchase fresh ingredients for the individual pup to ensure your four-legged loved one is receiving the nutrition that's right for them. We hope to offer the value of delivering pre-portioned meals to your door and taking the guesswork out of creating a truly balanced meal. All our recipes have been formulated by our board-certified vet nutritionist, Dr. Justin Shmalberg, to ensure they are nutritionally balanced and correctly portioned—that way our Nommers never have to put in the extra time, effort, or research and can feel at ease knowing the meals have the nutrients their fur baby needs to be healthy and happy :) With regards to recycling—we recommend recycling your box and liner, meal packs can be rinsed out and recycled in most cities (but you'll need to check with your local center), and ice packs can be cut open, drained, and the shells recycled. We can also work with you reduce the amount of meal packs your receive if this is something you prefer. And yes, we always recommend our pet parents consult with their veterinarian to ensure we are the right choice for your pup as their health and happiness always comes first :) Thank you so much for all your feedback, we'll be sure to take your notes into consideration to ensure we are providing the best experience possible.
