Nom NomReviews of nomnomnow.com

My pups love the food, website is easy to navigate and food has good price point. I have dealt w customer service and they have been quick to respond and resolved issue quickly. Overall great product and I look forward to new products.

Great product quality. My dog's coat is better and he has more balanced energy through out the day. Was well worth the switch from dry kibble. One drawback is that I have had a couple of deliveries where the bundling of the packaging was quite a mess. Didn't impact food at all but when bundling is not great makes freezer storage a pain. Customer service has always been top notch and fast when I have reached to them for assistance.

When my dog was diagnosed with colitis the food that had been recommended by his veterinarian was not helping, it actually seemed to be making him sick. NomNom has been his lifeline, he has become so happy and healthy and no longer has intense gut pain, when I saw these results from my dog eating NomNom I knew this would be the only food he would get. I have recommended NomNom to many friends as well as people I meet walking their dogs. To keep my dog in top health I also give him joint mobility chews and probiotic support. FYI He loves the jerky treats, he doesn’t even mind being left alone because when I get back he gets a treat which he expects as soon as I walk in the house. The NomNom food and other products are really a 5 star the only reason I held back has to do with the delivery. Though they have improved on the delivery packaging I would feel more comfortable if more dry ice was used in the delivery box to keep the food at theIr recommended cold temperature. There have been those times that If I had not been home on delivery some of the food would not have been useable (which they will replace), I had to separate out the individual meal packs that would need to go in the refrigerator from those that were able to go into the freezer. I am willing to work with this small inconvenience because the quality of NomNom is truly amazing and has made my dog so much healthier. I’m hoping this review will express my gratitude.

Total of over $300 a month to feed an 11 lb cat and a 14 lb yorkie, and it comes all at once so you better have room for all that food in your freezer. But otherwise both animals ask for it and will be missed!

The product is excellent; my only complaint is the price point. If this was more competitive in the price structure more people would be interested. My dog has food allergies so for my situation the cost is worthwhile. However, when I recommend this service to others they are not interested because of pricing.

The packages still have issues with sealing completely, causing leakage as they thaw. We are getting random meals that aren’t mixed well. One was half full of mushrooms. We threw the entire meal away. Even with these issues, we would still only feed NomNom.

Specifically regarding the chicken meals for cats, I have some frustrations, but overall still like the product. I knocked a star off for the following reasons: The consistency of the meat is too chunky for cats, like they are enormous chunks for dogs sometimes and then other batches will contain normally sized chunks or flakes. Some packs also contain an unreasonable amount of carrots that are also too big and indigestible for most cats. They get thrown up with the hair balls while everything else is digested, so they obviously aren't digestible not just unliked. The packaging is impossible to open sometimes, and the plastic is non-recyclable. More than 2 meal options for cats would be great. Turkey perhaps? The portions are inconsistent. Supposed to weigh at 90 grams, or the size specific to your pet, but are filled either too much or way too little depending on the batch. I have 3 cats so the inconsistent portion size is not appreciated between them haha Bottom line, the food seems to be good quality and I would recommend it to other pet parents, but it needs some work to really cash in on the convenience piece for people. I was told to "run it through a blender" or "just pick out the carrots" but that nullifies the ~convenient~ concept behind this product if I have to do this for each meal. Consumers want consistency, convenience, and quality. Other brands may be checking more boxes, but NomNom has potential specifically because of the quality. I hope they notice and make some changes, I'd hate to switch brands over these little frustrations.

Our dogs love the food! Sometimes the quantities are not exactly the same when they arrive, but overall a good service.
