The lamp fixed one dark corner
The small rechargeable table lamp now sits one the shelf where there is not nearby outlet. Its lowest settings is enough for the room in the evening, and the touch control is easier than reaching behind books for a switch. The metal body feels solid but also makes the lamp heavier than it appears. I forgot to charge it once and the light faded halfway through dinner. Since then I plug it in every few days. It has mode that corner useful without another cable.
