Services NOT Rendered - We paid for logo and web design services the first week of October 2023 and promptly filled out their forms.
Web design - Nothing in 3.5 months.
As of Jan 17th, 2024, Ninja Templates has not delivered a web design concept. They have NOT responded to our emails asking for an update after ten days.
We have asked for a refund for the web design they have failed to deliver. We are concerned that even if they do provide something, we will be stuck with an unresponsive company if we ever have technical problems.
Logo - Took 2 months
We received Logo concepts two (2) months after payment, on November 30th! And only AFTER we complained multiple times. I hated them all and none felt unique. They claimed that the proofs were all professionally designed original art. I came up with a nearly identical design via a boilerplate logo website for a quarter of the price. We received the final copies a month later.

Three Months for a Useless Site-DISASTER
Wow, what a coincidence! I have a paid invoice from Ninja Templates and the person who continues to lie to me and threaten me has the exact same name, Augustus. This guy has swindled a disabled widow operating a charity helping rescued animals out of $3999.
And ALL I have requested are the designs they had made (the pictures for the collections) to recreate my website in a template that is functional, the one provided after 3 months of waiting by Augustus is NOT functional. ZERO INTEGRITY.
________________________________
I was so excited to work with this company, they seemed so nice and promised me the most amazing website in 2-3 weeks. I contracted with them in September. I finally got my first draft in LATE October, over 3 weeks out. I requested some revisions, specifically asked that my collections not be set up to auto populate as that feature is not very effective in Shopify. Finally the first week in December, the website was "delivered" with no notice, nothing. I had a company waiting since October to run our promotions for the holidays and had to put them on hold, waiting for this premium, "high converting" powerhouse of a website. What I received in December had none of the changes I had requested. It had not been tested or anything to make sure things worked properly. The collections were not what I had agreed to and after at least 3 requests to NOT have them auto populate, they were set to autopopulate and they were such a mess! Every product was in pretty much every category making collections worthless. Some had zero products in them. The picture for each collection was hard coded, meaning that I could not take the collection picture and put it with my existing collections, which were accurate. After three months of waiting, I had a website that could not be used at the busiest time of the year! Augustus put my old website back and assured me that they would get things fixed. I never heard from him again. I repeatedly emailed and sent in a form for revisions, silence. I filed a dispute with PayPal, THEN I heard from him threatening me and accusing me of "theft of services"! Very professional and nice.... NOT! I had also paid $389 for three banners to be made, holiday banners for the first page of the site. They sent me three pictures that were not banners at all, I'm not sure what they could even be used for, they were not banner sizes and were not anything that you would put on the home page.
I was then promised that I would receive the graphics to put the site back together using their images if I did not pursue the PayPal dispute. I did not and have still not heard back from Augustus on when my graphics and the banners I paid for will be delivered. SCAM is what I would call this company. I paid them $4,000, I should have the most amazing, functional, high converting, impressive site on the internet and I have nothing that is functional and it took 3 months to get it, not 3 weeks or the "days" promised on their website. This was my experience, I've been scammed out of $4k and my business is a nonprofit animal rescue charity. Maybe they'll treat you better......

Horrible Service & Design Services
We engaged with Ninja Templates to re-design / re-brand our website. They promised a lot of things at the beginning of the relationship and failed to deliver on any aspects of what they agreed to deliver. Initial site designs lacked any type of innovation, were very bland and failed to meet our expectations. We contacted them repeatedly to improve - provided feedback as needed and after several days - delivered a product that continued to be below our expectations and, honestly, not very good at all. Nothing that we couldn't have purchased online readily made.
We contacted them - told them we were not interested in continuing the relationship moving forward due to lack of innovation and design skills to meet our expectations. After a long weekend - the CEO responded by throwing the terms of agreement in my face - despite the fact they have never delivered a single item other then a design comp. We paid up front based on their requirements - and tried to come up with a fee that would cover the work they had put in, but they continually hide behind their terms of agreement and NO REFUND policy. Who has a NO REFUND policy in 2020? How can you take someones money and not complete a project and come to terms on a settlement of some nature KNOWING that you didn't deliver what the client paid for?
Honestly - save yourself a lot of stress and do not use Ninja Templates. Their work is sub par at best - they don't care about their clients - most of their clients are not with them anymore - check their portfolio page. It's a shame - because we wanted to use a US based company but they misrepresented themselves and didn't treat us fairly.
They charged us for a product we will never use, never finished and failed to deliver several key components of this agreement. We NEVER got pass the initial design process.
P.S. Their "canned" response below is a complete joke. He's full of words to emphasize his terms of service and to shift blame but the bottom line is - the service(s) they offer are not good - and they NEVER offered a refund - even after I said I would pay them for services rendered. He's full of words as you can see below in his scripted response. I paid nearly $1300 for an Ebay re-design - that was NEVER even discussed or delivered. So it's a joke.

Simply put: This client categorically refused to participate in the required design process once we delivered their custom designs, and instead demanded additional services that went far beyond the well-defined scope of the project. After numerous, lengthy consultations over how to best meet their needs, they simply demanded an undue refund for their services. There was and still is nothing preventing this client from returning to the design process and getting the full benefit of the services due to them, and they know it.
Our Terms of Sale protect our clients: they ensure that all clients are provided with the full course of services paid for, with ample revisions, reviews, consultations, and an engaging design process that ensures that the client is in the driver’s seat throughout said design process. Our Terms of Sale also protect NinjaTemplates against clients who abandon their projects for their own reasons, who demand work that goes beyond the scope of our clearly-defined agreements, and who otherwise attempt to steal or defraud us for services rendered. The only circumstances in which NinjaTemplates clients don’t get what they paid for is when they abandon their services of their own accord, and refuse to let us do the work that they hired us to do, as is the unfortunate case here.
The overwhelming majority of NinjaTemplates clients have an incredibly positive and profitable experience working with us to meet all of their online retail and eCommerce design needs, and the proof of this is everywhere and readily accessible to our potential clients. The only clients who are not completely satisfied with our services are those who decide to abandon the required process, who demand a wider scope of services than was agreed to, and who attempt theft of services / demand refunds for non-refundable custom design services. In every single (but very rare) case like this one, it is 100% in the client’s power to resume their services and receive the full benefit of those services.
We hope that Ryan and FanCave return to the required process so that we can continue with their services where they of their own volition and free will decided to abandon it. If they decide not to do so it is against our wishes, and beyond our control, and we find it very unfortunate.

We contacted NinjaTemplates about a…
We contacted NinjaTemplates about a site design and and eBay template. During discussions we told them we had other sites planned in the future so they suggested we prepay for a complete package for all of our services. January of 2019 we paid for 2 sites to be developed as well as 3 eBay templates and a couple social media banners.
The first site after multiple change requests, of which we were invoiced for everyone, finally was completed along with our eBay template.
We contacted them again on December 6th, 2019 to do our final site and an additional eBay template. The did not respond. We called and left a voicemail. Ninja Templates did not call us back. Finally on December 12th, they sent an email stating "I just got your voicemail. We're completely booked through the holiday, but can certainly get things started in early January, with a 2-3 week design and installation window, with the goal to have things up, tested, and ready to go before 2/1."
We provided details of the site and they started work shortly after the New Year. After continuous delays and lie after lie that our site was going to be delivered, they finally installed it on March 15th... 45 days after quoted delivery.
During development they tried to charge us exorbitant fees for elements of the site that were requested at the beginning of the project. We offered to exchange future services that were owed to us to get the elements completed. Our email dated Feb 3rd to NInja Templates
"None the less, after this project is finished, we are still owed "eBay Design Services (Advanced level-of-service)" with a value of $799 x 2. I will agree to forgo those services if you add the elements to this homepage as we have requested."
Ninja templates declined on Feb 5th in an email stating... "The eBay Design Services that accompany / match your web store designs are a paired element of those designs, and that's not really something I can transfer to another application. It was priced and packaged based on what it costs us to perform those services, and isn't suitable for a credit on other services a couple of years later."
Finally after a lot of back and forth, they agreed to finish the site with the elements we agreed upon. On Feb 19th, they sent us an invoice for additional $199 for "NinjaTemplates | Custom Development for Category Display (at cost) for 3rd Section as discussed"
When we contacted them to provide the remainder of our services they refused. They claimed they used monies from prior paid services for completion of the site. Apparently they conveniently they forgot they declined that offer and charged us an additional $199.
Ninja Templates simply can't be trusted. Quoted timelines, payments made and ethical business means nothing to them. They will try to misdirect and spin anything they can to get out from performing services. I anxiously await their rebuttal and attempts to discredit us. We have all the emails and this isn't our avenue for retribution.

Be cautous with who you choose.
I paid for a service. I never received any of the service and or product I paid for. Tried to make contact with this company and received back no responses except an email stating in Texas for a show. Requested a refund from paying receiving source and was informed that they do not cover for digital content. Due to requesting a refund I was told by this company that I voided the contract. Nothing fraudulent in this review in the least. Proof of experience was given and the review is correct and actual in every way. If this review is indeed fraudulent Trustpilot would have had it removed. If we were not a customer of Ninja Templates again Trustpilot would have removed this review.
Do you know what is perfect Karma? I am not out of business due to AI and this company will be if not already due to the fact that designing a website is easy because we do not have to write code. AI does everything. Karma really stinks!

It is important to understand that this is a fraudulent review which clearly does not represent an actual buyer experience, and that it violates this website's "User Guidelines" in several ways, but because this website is a for-profit business, they have a vested interest in not removing this fraudulent review, so that our business will work to get lots of positive reviews from our actual clients to offset the damage. Well played, Trusty!
