Nido James is less than 5 minutes walk to my school and gym which is my ideal type for 1-year study. Despite the location, I would like to recommend here for the helpful and friendly staffs (thank you Lindsey). They're so lovely and nice =)

Very nice initiative, but too bad that so few students attended

Nido St James is a convenient place to live as its right next to the Strathclyde University campus and a short distance away from the city centre. The building is great as it has a gym, cinema room, library and lots of other facilities. The staff are super friendly and its a lovely place to call home!

This is my second year staying here and it has been a great experience, with quality service and a pleasant environment. The maintenance could be more timely as after a maintenance request was put it online, students have had to follow this up with a phone call or by going to the front office to ensure it was seen to. Other than this the service has been great.

Hi Blessing, Thanks for the review. We're so happy you are having an excellent experience at Nido Castle Hill for the second year in a row. We hope to see you for a third year too! Regarding the maintenance, sometimes it can look like we are not aware of your issue, but we are. Keith always tries to prioritise the work according to the urgency of the job, however, we appreciate your feedback and will work on communicating this more effectively. Thanks, The Nido Team

As long as you don't mind a little traffic noise outside, its a comfortable clean place to stay. Staff always very kind and helpful.

Hi Pops, Thanks for your review. We are happy to hear that you are enjoying your stay at Nido Castle Hill in Cambridge. The House Team will also be really pleased with the good feedback! This is the first we’ve heard of any traffic noise issues at Nido Castle Hill, but we'd like to help. We're having difficulty linking your Trustpilot account with our Castle Hill records, could you please send us an email to [email protected] so we can follow up with the team. In the meantime, we hope you enjoy the rest of your stay with us. Thanks, The Nido Team

This is my first year living here, and from the start I felt extremely safe and comfortable at Nido. All of the staff are extremely accommodating and helpful, as well as putting on many events which helped me to socialise with other students at the beginning of my time at university. My main issue with Nido is how expensive it is, however, the quality of the rooms alongside the provision of a TV and spacious living area as well as nice areas for study and spending time with friends help to justify the price. I would not choose to live here (or in any other halls) for my second year purely because I want to move into somewhere that gives me greater independence. However, I would highly recommend Nido for anyone who is keen to make lots of friends and live in an environment that is in a fantastic location and provides an experience that I feel is quite different to many other student halls.

I have thoroughly enjoyed living in Nido for the past two years. I have made a great group of friends outside of uni. The events that they plan are a blast! The staff are lovely and so are the security. Would highly recommend!
