I have been living at Nido since September, I have a classic Studio. This has been a good experience overall: although the rooms are just a little overpriced, the friendly staff, residents, and the charming area all made my stay enjoyable. If you are a 1st year student and you’re looking to meet new people and other students, I would really recommend Nido West Hampstead. Throughout the months here I have sympathized with the different members of the staff; Kevin, Sarah, Becky, Izzy, Marc and many more... they really try their best to make you feel safe and at home. You really feel like you are part of a friendly community, it is nice to have that while being away from home. There are also useful facilities included like the gym, laundry room, cinema room... To be honest I had small quarrels with the maintenance and the reception every now and then but it always worked out in the end. All of the residents have socialized with Sarah, she is lovely and is always helping the residents. She’s very charming and welcoming. Overall, I am honest when I say that I will miss this place I called home for 10 months. It has been a good experience. Edmond

Very organised layouts, quite spacious compared to other accommodations although a bit more expensive. The staff is great, laundry service is chargeable which is a bummer but overall great amenities. Definitely recommend if you’re studying at Strathclyde, Caledonian or city college.

I had a quite overall pleasent experience for roughly a year at Nido student accommodation on St. James Road Glasgow. As I am a postgraduate student, I spent most of my time working on my assignments and my dissertation. Luckily, this accommodation provided plenty of study area. Unoverlookably, the staff are really friendly. They were always there to assist students. Minor drawbacks are that firstly, it is way too easy for outsiders to enter the accommodation, especially when some flats became hostel rooms. Secondly, wi-fi turned down from time to time. Thirdly, students, working as part-time receptionists, missed out some information when I first arrived at the accommodation. Other than that, this accommodation provided great experiences with favourable facilities.

The location is very convenient; great public transport connection, supermarket, 7-10 mintues walk to the city centre. The accommodation is fair, the kitchen is suitable up to 4 people, common room is OK but not something special, the GYM is quite small. The staff is friendly in general terms, however I would like to thank especially Seanade Mitchell in the front house who is extremely helpful, kind and professional.

Facilities and entertainment are fine. Not the best but quite decent compared to other student accommodations. If you are Strathclyde students looking for a place closed to school Nido might be one of the best choices.

I stayed in Nido and it’s very convenient to go to business school, library and the gym. All staffs are nice and helpful. The Nido community ran various activities for students to join and all people here are friendly.

The staff and facilities at St James are amazing. The only thing in my concern is about the building’s noise control ability. You can only expect to have quite neighbours if you want to have a good sleep.
