Zero stars review regarding Gables, Pudsey, Leeds. Bullying is not acceptable under the NHS Frame work digital and respect. Wouldn't trust Joanne Robinson Practice Manager at this place. Fraud by her.
Zero stars review regarding Gables, Pudsey, Leeds. Bullying is not acceptable under the NHS Frame work digital and respect. Wouldn't trust Joanne Robinson Practice Manager at this place. Fraud by her.
I was registered with Gables received a text message from a Dr G Kargwal however my registration and medical records state for a smear test to be carried out by a female doctor. As a nurse hurt me previously therefore my previous smear test was invalid.
Joanne Robinson Practice Manager at Gables Surgery in Leeds and the staff under her regarding not complying with the NHS Framework regarding Digital and Repect however instead bullying a patient to accept GP appointments on the NHS App that are not with a Doctor but nurse/healthcare worker to go through a second line instead direct with a Doctor especially as Doctor's hold more qualifications then these Health Care workers. Not only that the practice doesn't hold any external complaint process.
URGENT my smear test has been due since the 8th April 2026 received a text message from the NHS however GP Practices have denied my self this regarding the bullying that I'm receiving. From staff at several GP practice's to be done by a female doctor as per this and my medical records as a nurse hurt me previously that caused me to bleed therefore made by smear test invalid therefore had to have a second smear test done as it was done by junior staff that aren't trained sufficiently and that hold insufficient qualifications.
Right to Express a Preference: I've got the right to express a preference for a specific doctor and gender.
Obligation to Comply: The GP practice is legally required to "try to comply" with your preference. Dignity and Respect: It states I have the right to be treated with dignity and respect, which includes privacy during intimate procedures.
The NHS Choice Framework explicitly states that I should be provided with a choice of biological female doctor for my smear test.
Especially as my NHS application to Gables made it very clear regarding that so if an issue then that should of been stated by Dr G Kargwal however wasn't then I submitted information through patches that a Sarah contacted me about it's not a need and a want it is my legal right to be respected that clearly Sarah hadn't referred this to any of the doctors at the practice instead I received bullying from Tracy, Sarah and Claire only on the reception so unclear why these were dealing with patches as none are medically trained from dealing with it.
The complaint process is on a none headed paper form at the practice that isn't professional from Joanne Robinson Practice Manager that is mean't to deal with the appointment system.
There isn't any external complaint process regarding Joanne Robinson.
Complaint has been submitted to the NHS. From Google reviews I'm not the only person that's had problems with this practice. Not sure it will be dealt with however I wouldn't trust the staff here.
The heating was on very high in spring so is mean't to deal with business side of things for the surgery however that wouldn't be the case otherwise she would turn the heating down. Once I mentioned it, it was.

In 2019 I was registered to a GP surgery on Leytonstone high road.
My evil step mother contacted GP and told lies whilst using my details at the time, DR
SANJAY KUMAR a supposedly qualified doctor failed to act appropriately. Instead sent emails to mental practitioners based on lies told to him by my biological father, step mother and some my sisters. I have since switch GP’s but the betrayal of my family acting in such a way has left me a little traumatised.
Below I’d like to add some evidence that I was a regular guy and within a few weeks at the time I was all a sudden described as mental unstable by my dearest and nearest then back to normal.
My biological fathers name is MR MUKHTAR YAAWELI. Step mothers name is YASMIN ABDALLAH.
Sisters - Almas and amal mukhtar Mohamed.

Worst App ever.
NHS 24 App.
What a complete waste of time and public money. If you answer no to one of their questions it just takes you back to the start, so you get nowhere
This must be the worse use of AI that I have come across. This money could have been better spent on front line staff, not to tick a box by overpaid managers. It's strange I can ask chat CPT and get comprehensive advice on what to do next.
Deleted this NHS App and advise other don't waste your time on this.

I have had a very distressing and…
I have had a very distressing and unsafe experience with both emergency services and my GP practice, which left me feeling unsupported during a serious medical situation.
It started when I developed severe abdominal pain. My condition became so serious that I had to call emergency services (999). In fact, I had to call 999 four times and repeatedly answer the same questions each time, despite being in severe pain and struggling to speak properly.
I was eventually taken to hospital by ambulance at night. Throughout the night, I was left sitting in a chair as no proper bed was initially available. Only in the morning was I offered a bed, which had no pillow or blanket. The food provided was also not appropriate for a patient in acute pain.
The discharge process was unclear and inconsistent. I was initially told I would be transported home by ambulance, but later, after a shift change, another staff member informed me that this was not available. I was effectively told I would need to make my own way home after receiving morphine. Fortunately, transport was eventually arranged via 111.
After this hospital episode, I was still unwell and contacted my GP practice requesting an urgent appointment. I was told there were no available appointments and was directed to complete an online form, which again redirected me to 111 due to the urgency of my condition.
When a nurse called me back, I was again told there were no appointments available and was advised to travel to another clinic approximately one hour away, despite the fact that I could barely walk and was struggling to breathe at the time.
In addition, my local medical centre, Shore Medical Poole Road, which is located very close to me, did not offer an appointment and instead attempted to redirect me to another medical centre far away, even though I was unable to get out of bed at the time. This made the situation feel even more distressing and unsafe.
Throughout this entire experience, I felt a lack of consistent medical support, poor coordination between services, and a lack of appropriate response to what was clearly a serious and urgent condition. Instead of receiving timely care, I was repeatedly redirected between services while in significant distress.
I hope this feedback helps highlight the need for better coordination in urgent care pathways and more appropriate handling of patients in acute pain and vulnerable conditions.

What is even the point in…
What is even the point in receptionists? They're power hungry, they talk to people as if we're a nuisance and don't have much options. But they can talk and get in a strange attitude people but don't like it back. If they don't want to help people just say it...they rather laze about and sit and stare at a screen all day.

NHS UK Anima nonsense.
Have been suffering from arthritic and capul tunnel since Oct 25 and now taking nuraphen by the bucket load. Tried to ring GP for appointment for painkillers and they first asked me "How old are you"? WTF?? I then told them and they replied " You can only have an appointment if you are over the age of 80 yrs"??? and told me to use the 'Anima' booking service. 'Anima' after spending 20 mins ticking boxes told me to go to the nearest hospital 'A&E'(which is a 16 miles round trip) ????? and waited 2.5 hours. THIS IS NONSENCE!!
We can no longer see a GP anymore(which is 2 miles away) and this multi million pound website will put more pressure on hospitals hoping that we just go away or, if you have the money go 'POOPA HEALTHCARE' "The Que Jumper, Poor People Need Not Apply". ALL NHS DOCTORS AND CONSULTANTS MUST BE BANNED FROM DOING PRIVATE WORK WITHIN THE NHS.You either work for the NHS or you do not.
