We take concerns like this very seriously and want to clarify that National Fidelity Financial is a legitimate debt relief company, and we strongly disagree with the characterization in this review.
Our records show that the program was explained during enrollment, including how the process works and the expected timeline. Shortly after enrolling, you contacted us to cancel, and our team honored your request and processed your cancellation within our standard 24–48 hour timeframe. All scheduled drafts associated with the program have also been canceled.
National Fidelity Financial does not collect fees from clients until after a settlement has been successfully reached. Because you canceled shortly after enrollment and no settlement was completed, we collected no fees or money of any kind from you.
We have attempted to reach you directly to discuss your concerns and better understand what led to this experience. We would sincerely appreciate the opportunity to speak with you. Please contact our Customer Care team at 888-703-5495 or [email protected] so we can address any remaining questions or concerns directly.

Run for the Hills: Expected a Loan, Got a Debt Settlement Pitch
I received a mailer stating I was “pre-approved” for a loan through Greenwater Capital. The marketing made it appear that Greenwater Capital was a lender offering financing.
After responding, I discovered the process was actually focused on debt settlement, not obtaining a loan. In my experience, Greenwater Capital appeared to be a marketing brand used to funnel consumers into debt-relief services rather than an actual lender.
The entire experience felt like a bait-and-switch. I responded because I believed I was receiving a legitimate pre-approved loan offer, only to find myself being pitched debt settlement instead. If you’re considering responding to one of these mailers, make sure you understand exactly who you’re dealing with and what services are actually being offered.
Response from National Fidelity FinancialJun 20, 2026
Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations.
Greenwater Capital markets financial solutions that may include loan products for qualified applicants. As with any lending program, eligibility requirements apply and not every consumer will qualify for a loan. When an applicant does not meet the qualifications for a lending product, alternative financial relief options may be presented, including debt resolution programs, so consumers can evaluate other potential solutions for their situation.
We strive to be transparent throughout the process and regret if there was any confusion regarding the services being discussed. Our goal is to help consumers understand all available options and make informed decisions based on their individual financial circumstances.
We appreciate your feedback and will continue reviewing our communications to ensure they are as clear as possible. If you would like to discuss your experience further, we welcome the opportunity to speak with you directly.

Questionable service
You haven't done anything you said you would. I am now getting constant calls and letters on items you said not to pay and you would take care of.
Response from National Fidelity FinancialJun 19, 2026
We’re sorry to hear you’re feeling frustrated and appreciate you sharing your concerns. Our Head of Customer Service, Steve, reached out and was able to connect with you directly to review the program and go over your account in detail.
As discussed, your first payment was made on May 31, so your program is still in the early stages and your accounts are actively being worked on. We understand that receiving calls and letters can feel overwhelming, but this is a normal part of the process in the beginning while negotiations are getting underway.
Please know that you’re not alone in this; our team is here to support you every step of the way. If you have any questions or need reassurance as things progress, don’t hesitate to reach out.

Update and furious 😠
7/24/2026**UPDATE** OMG... they let the ball drop again.
I gave Steven verbal authorization to move forward with the payment, and the additional funds have already started being debited. They did send an email around the same time asking me to reply "yes" to approve the account, but I honestly believed my verbal authorization was sufficient since the withdrawals had already begun.
What is most frustrating is that there was no follow-up to let me know they were still waiting on that email confirmation. A simple phone call or email could have prevented all of this. Ironically, if one of my payments doesn't clear, they have no problem contacting me immediately, and I always correct it as soon as possible.
Instead, I received a letter from the Sheriff's Office stating that my bank account has been garnished with a hold of over $10,000. This entire situation feels completely avoidable with better communication, and I'm extremely disappointed that it was allowed to get this far.
6/5/2026 **UPDATE**
I wanted to provide an update regarding my experience with Steven and National Fidelity Financial. While I was initially frustrated with the communication surrounding a creditor issue and civil judgment matter, I am pleased to say that the situation was ultimately resolved satisfactorily.
Steven took the time to address my concerns, review the documentation I had provided, and work toward a positive outcome. I appreciate the efforts made to resolve the matter and the professionalism shown throughout the process. The results achieved have given me confidence that my concerns were taken seriously and handled appropriately.
Thank you to Steven and the team at National Fidelity Financial for seeing this through and helping bring the matter to a successful resolution.
I am extremely disappointed with the level of communication and service I received. I submitted legal documentation regarding a specific creditor and followed up multiple times, including notifying them of a civil judgment well before the court date. Despite providing all the necessary information and making repeated attempts to get updates, there was little sense of urgency and very poor communication throughout the process.
It's frustrating that notifications seem to be sent quickly when there is an issue with payments, yet important matters affecting a client's account do not receive the same attention. I expected a more proactive and responsive approach, especially when legal matters were involved. Unfortunately, my experience left me feeling ignored and unsupported.

Thank you for taking the time to share this thoughtful update, Rachel. We truly appreciate you giving us the opportunity to reconnect and work through the situation with you.
We’re glad to hear that after speaking with Steven and reviewing everything in detail, we were able to reach a resolution that met your expectations. It means a lot to know you felt heard and that the outcome helped restore your confidence.
We’re sorry for the frustration you experienced along the way, and we truly appreciate your patience as we worked to make things right. We remain committed to providing you with the level of communication, support, and care you deserve moving forward.

A Nightmare Disguised as a Solution: Do Not Trust Them
I signed a contract with National Fidelity Financial on April 17, 2025, to resolve my financial issues with Capital One, Petal, Apple Card, Bank of America, and JPMCB Card, as I was unable to pay them.
The initial sales advisor promised me that my financial problems would be solved within 6 months at the latest. He assured me that they would pay the banks directly and that I only had to pay Fidelity a fixed monthly installment for 45 months. However, he never warned me that the banks would start writing and calling me directly.
That is when my life turned into a living hell. I began receiving collection calls from the banks morning, noon, and night, every single day, including Sundays. I receive letters from them almost daily. As I write this review, I cannot even answer my phone because it is constantly the banks trying to collect the debt. When I reached out to Fidelity Financial about this issue on May 16, 2025, a customer service representative simply sent me an email stating that this was "normal" and told me not to worry. That was the extent of their solution.
Later, on March 3, 2026, I received an email from their Legal Negotiator stating: "I have a settlement offer for you." He was asking for more money to reach a settlement. I replied in astonishment, asking what kind of offer he was talking about, since all costs and the 45 fixed monthly payments had already been strictly agreed upon when I signed the contract. What he really wanted was to extract more money from me, claiming it was a "limited-time offer" and even daring to set a deadline to receive this extra money that was never stipulated in our contract.
And that is not even the worst part. In March 2026, I received a summons from the TRIAL COURT MASSACHUSETTS DISTRICT COURT DEPARTMENT because JPMorgan Chase Bank has sued me for the money I owe them. Fidelity Financial is fully aware of this because I forwarded them the information, but they have done absolutely nothing to solve the problem. Thanks to their complete negligence, this has escalated into a legal issue, and I am now being taken to court.
Today, more than a year has passed. Out of the 7 credit cards that should have already been negotiated, they have only settled with Capital One. They have done absolutely nothing regarding the rest of the cards—a fact that can be easily verified on their own platform. I am desperate and distressed because they do nothing and still have the audacity to demand more money than what was agreed upon.
If National Fidelity Financial does not take immediate action to resolve this situation and handle the lawsuit caused by their negligence, I will take formal legal action. I will not hesitate to file official complaints with the Massachusetts Attorney General's Office, the Massachusetts Division of Banks, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC). This is my final warning before having your deceptive practices thoroughly investigated by both state and federal authorities. I strongly invite anyone reading this to look at the positive reviews of National Fidelity Financial with a highly critical eye.

Diego, we’re very sorry to hear how stressful this situation has been for you. We understand how overwhelming ongoing creditor contact and legal matters can feel, and we take your concerns seriously.
We do want to clarify a few important details about how the process works. National Fidelity Financial is a debt relief program, and our commitment is to provide clear, transparent guidance so clients can make informed decisions. We do not use deceptive practices, and we strive to ensure expectations are communicated as accurately as possible.
Debt resolution is not immediate and can vary based on creditor behavior, account status, and the availability of funds. While we work to structure plans around a consistent monthly payment, that amount is an estimate based on projected timelines, not a guaranteed cap—especially when an account progresses toward litigation.
In your case, a settlement opportunity was presented through the creditor’s legal representation prior to further escalation. These types of offers are time-sensitive and set by the creditor or their attorneys, often with firm deadlines. Because of the stage the account had reached, resolving it at that time required additional funds beyond the standard monthly accumulation. The request for those funds was directly tied to that opportunity and its deadline, as an effort to resolve the account before legal action progressed further.
We have also made multiple attempts to reach you by phone, email, and voicemail to review your situation and provide assistance. We genuinely want to work with you toward a resolution.
Please contact us directly at 888-703-5495 or [email protected] so we can go over your account in detail and discuss the best path forward.

We’re sorry to hear that you felt uncomfortable during the process. We completely understand that providing personal information is a serious decision, and your caution is valid.
To clarify, collecting a full Social Security number is a standard and necessary part of enrolling in a debt relief program. It is required to accurately review accounts, verify identity, and work with creditors on your behalf. This information is handled securely and in line with industry standards and compliance requirements.
We respect your decision not to move forward and appreciate the opportunity we had to speak with you. If you have any questions or would like additional clarification in the future, our team is always here to help.
