Not sure how they even have a 3 star rating. This moving company is a scam as the rate they quote you is no where near what the final cost will be. They lost some of the items and when we tried to dispute the lady got nasty and threw F and B words. This company and the lady who runs it is a scammer. Beware and be away.

I wouldn’t like to be a customer going forward. That’s my view as I am not satisfied with them. They are brokers and not an actual moving company. Hence, the estimates they provide to acquire a customer, can’t be considered reliable. I was given an estimate by them and that differed significantly from the actual amount billed by the moving company. When I sought their intervention to see why so much difference, I found complete lack of professionalism on their part. So, to anyone wanting to move household goods and vehicles, please contact a company that’s in the business of moving household goods and vehicles rather than a broker. Brokers don’t seem intelligent enough to provide a realistic estimate. Also, a very common sales pitch by brokers: We have a fantastic deal which won’t last long, and the prices will go up. I don’t think it is appropriate to get carried away. The brokers can come back anytime, and they’ll never refuse to cater to you. When my car was picked-up, the broker said that driver needs more than what was quoted. The broker expressed inability to help and blamed the moving company’s driver and economy, inflation. Well, gas prices were lower when my car was picked up compared to when the estimate was provided. There was total lack of professionalism when I questioned the broker. Remember one thing always: There are many brokers in the market. This broker didn’t offer any “differentiated” value. So, first mantra that I would share is to not go through the broker route at all, but if you must for some reason, please shop a lot. Don’t get carried away by pitches like rates will go up. It’s often said that a broker is preferred as he/she can intervene when there is a disconnect between estimates and actual charges or if any other problem arises. I didn’t find that advantage here at all and hence I wouldn’t recommend availing their services. I would go one step ahead and suggest considering containers for shipping. U-Haul is also fine. To pack and load the items into the containers, you can easily get helpers. There are no surprise charges in case of containers. A moving company can give surprises like they have an 18-wheel truck which can’t enter apartment complex hence they need some money to hire a shuttle. They’ll get a U-Haul or similar vehicle to enter the complex but will ask a lot of dollars. The same happened with me. When my goods were picked-up from the source, they had a small shuttle. But, when it came to delivering at the destination, I was put in a situation wherein the same company needed more dollars to hire a small shuttle. When I resisted, they told me to get a shuttle myself and they’ll only load items to that shuttle vehicle outside the complex and won’t help in assembling the goods in the apartment. Truly disgusting. If that’s what I need to do to save some money, what’s the problem with taking a container or U-Haul? The moving companies can take advantage of your situation. So, best is to consider containers like PODS, U-pack etc. and load/unload items yourself or with the help of helpers. The helpers can be hired even at the destination for assembling the goods again. At least, there are no surprise charges on part of the container companies. Now, I know one advantage that is said in case of moving companies and that is 30-day free storage. Well, the amount I had to pay for the shuttle, I can afford storage myself. Also, if you have an address where you’re moving, you really wouldn’t need that storage. By the way, who says that moving companies can’t delay delivery? What-if they have goods in the storage but aren’t having drivers and trucks to attempt delivering? What about that delay? So, with a little smart planning and smart shopping, containers will be beneficial in overall sense.

They have taken my money, and did not ship my car.

I do not recommend this company at all they are some scammers, they gave me a timeframe, never undated me with what’s going on with dispatcher, I keep calling everyday, it’s always an excuse, all three lady are rude, making it seems like your being rude when your asking question about your order, Rachael tells me you contacts us through email, I told her you can give me my money back, now it’s a problem….. Horrible service Run!!!!!!

I would not recommend this company to ANYONE- I paid my dep they told me if I wanted to change my date I could no extra charge. I scheduled the pickup they told me a driver by the name of Dave would call me to pick up ...after waiting 9 hrs I called as I did not hear back from Dave..they told me he ran into a problem and he would pick up tomorrow and oh by the way its an extra $300.00. After they quoted me 800.00 now they state extra $300.00 as Dave is an independent contractor...they never told me this...I would not recommend this company as they were rude as heck on the phone, lack of communication and then as I am explaining they said they have 10 days to get me a driver but could not guarantee me a drive within those 10 days... this company is the WORSE!!! cancelled and waiting for a refund on my deposit. Do your research and check customer reviews as I did not!!

I agree. This is a nightmare. Do not ever do business with this company if you don’t want to lose your money. DO NOT trust their discount offer. Their good reviews in Google are fake.

They are an absolute scam! Read the reviews and run! They request cash or check or cash app and make you sign a contratct to be reliable for deposit of $200. Then they falslely say they assigned you a driver so the deposit kicks in and then never pick up your car untill you give up and go with others. They pick the deposit and earn their money thos way. It's a contractual legit place of scam business that needs to be investigated and sbut down. By the way horrible customer service, rude people, and non responsive. Run and do not look back! You'll thank me later.

If you want to live a nightmare of lies and scams, go with this company! We have never before experienced something like this. Their customer service is so unprofessional and hard to talk with, let alone get ahold of and (particularly the dispatcher) will hang up on you if you try to have a conversation about any issues. I got purposely hung up on twice. They snag your deposit and even expedited shipping fees and then leave you hanging the day of pick up. We had two vehicles that were supposed to ship on the same day but neither did. One shipped the next day and they canceled the contract with our other one, right as we were in the middle of flying across the country to move and had to get a friend to hand off the keys to another driver while we scrambled to find a new company to work with. I should have noticed the first red flag when at time of paying the deposit, they said their credit card machines were broken and wanted the money a different, more sketchy way. I fought them on it and paid with a credit card, which is good so now I can dispute the charges. We got so many excuses like - the power is out, and the driver got covid. It doesn't matter what the reason is, a business should treat the customer with a basic level of respect. They even got our pick up month wrong. They called the business day before in May and that’s when I told them the contract said it was the was supposed to be in June. So, when the business day before came in June and I hadn’t heard anything, I called and they said they didn’t know a time and would contact day of, which was suspicious. They then contacted me day of contracted pick up date in June to say the driver got covid and none of our cars could be shipped out that day. Based on the lies, inconsistencies, and rudeness and we’ve experience over the last couple months, as well as other reviews on here, we would not be at all surprised if the covid reason was completely made up as a lie because they had not done their job properly. Even if he did actually get covid, New Way did nothing to treat us right in how they handled it. Communication is absolutely terrible with them. At one point they had blocked our numbers and wouldn’t pick up ever. We used my parent’s phone a second later and they immediately picked up that time. TO TOP IT OFF: the one vehicle they did end up shipping a day late we were scammed out of hundreds of dollars. Our contract had one dollar amount, but they violated the contract and signed with a driver for a hundreds of dollars more that we had to pay to get our vehicle back. We have proof of everything. Eship is a million times better to work with!! They picked up our abandoned truck within 1 business day of reaching out after New Way bailed on us. Do not go with this company unless you enjoy going through insanely stressful experiences!
