NewsBlurReviews of newsblur.com

Powerful RSS reader at good price. NewsBlur is for major news or online blog junkies. It does great at handling massive amounts of inflow content. You can train it on what types of content you like/don't like which helps filter your results. Worst part is the relative lack of overall features (regex filtering, web scraping, etc) compared to sites like Inoreader and Feedly but best feature is the pricing: vastly cheaper than either of those for the basic pro plan which is more than enough for most people. Overall was very satisfied with the product. Was a paid customer for a few years and only moved on because I needed more for work related activities.

I found that Newsblur was very easy to set-up; and worked extremely well. i had absolutely no problem with performance or speed: the news feeds (i had entered about 40 various ones from all over) found the RSS feed on each site, and subsequently scrolled perfectly fast, and news articles opened immediately. I had/have more of a prob with the back-end and settings afterwards understanding and finding which i am trying to resolve w developer I would have already upgraded to Pro, but my funds are limited with other expenses right now. The developer is very proactive and helpful in the associated Forum.

Nice idea but incredibly slow. Feedly, for all its clumsiness, stays on top.

I moved to NewsBlur when the Google Reader was shut down and I've found it to be excellent. I've found it to have excellent styling, excellent features and I never had any issues using it.

I have gone for the yearly paid version and am totally satisfied with the options. I looked at a number of news readers but went for this one as it had the most innovation long term.
