New Hope Animal Hospital - expensive care; hard to make appt
This Animal Hospital is both expensive and not very helpful. My dog has an ongoing ear issue that requires regular care but the New Hope Animal Hospital refuses to refill prescriptions without rescheduling a visit and re-exam, which ends up costing over $300 a visit. The vets there know this is a non-serious ear infection that requires routine cleaning and an antibiotic ointment, but nevertheless they refuse to refill the script for the ointment without charging for another office visit... When I finally did contact them for a visit just to get the ointment refilled, they told me they couldn't see my dog for 2 weeks... Hmmm. If you are looking for compassionate care for your animal that isn't a profit center for big Pharma, look elsewhere. Surely there must be people in this business who genuinely care more for animals than to extract the most money they can from pet owners.
