Training with JaclynReviews of newgoldschoolcalifornia.com

Virtual On Line Course was excellent for learning definitions and theory as well as practical applications of those theories. Jaclyn took her time, was well prepared and answered any questions that were asked of her.

Jaclyn is a wealth of knowledge! I just finished my first gold school with her and what an amazing experience. From the detailed instruction and course notes before even stepping foot at the school, to the hands on work and detailed explanations that were given while in attendance. Her passion for the health, wellbeing, and advocacy for the animals she trains is shown throughout the course as she details how to work through issues and troubleshoot to better the dog. Her in depth knowledge of applying principles of psychology while training was demonstrated in each hands on exercise while working dogs. She showed how the power of reward can make what some would call the most minuscule of behaviors filled with heart and soul by the dog. I would highly recommend this course for any trainer serious on improving their training plans!

I recently had the privilege of attending a dog training class led by Jaclyn Dagampat, and I cannot recommend her enough. Jaclyn is not only well-articulated and clear in her teaching but also incredibly skilled at reading the room and keeping everyone engaged throughout the entire course. She masterfully balanced theory and practical application, ensuring that every individual's learning style was met, whether it was through group exercises or one-on-one instruction. What sets Jaclyn apart is her ability to help each participant reach their specific training goals while still fostering a collaborative team environment. She kept the NePoPo ® foundations at the core of her teaching but approached them with a "cooking method" mentality rather than a rigid recipe. This unique approach encouraged us to adapt the training to our own styles, just as she had done, allowing for personal growth and self-discovery. Prior to the class, Jaclyn provided an online refresher course, ensuring that everyone was up to speed on the foundational concepts, saving valuable time for more advanced work during the class itself. She encouraged us to embrace struggle as part of the learning process, always there to assist when needed, but ultimately guiding us toward independent problem-solving. Jaclyn’s commitment to her students’ growth, both individually and as a group, made the experience truly impactful. If you’re looking for an instructor who will push you to become the best version of yourself while ensuring a solid understanding of balanced dog training, Jaclyn is the perfect guide. Thanks for everything!

I attended Jaclyn's Nepopo®️ Gold School in August of 2024 in Dauphin, PA. From the start, communication with Jaclyn was easy. Emails were answered on timely basis. She picked the ideal venue - an air bnb. She made sure all students had what they needed to have a comfortable stay. The classroom instruction was informative and on point. As students, we made mistakes during the practical/hands on instruction, but Jaclyn pointed us in the right direction and gave us a clear understanding of our expectations from the dog. She was always respectful regardless of the question and concern. When students wanted to work later in the evening, she was right there helping them. She brought out the best in every student. Jaclyn is very personable and made the whole experience fun. There were plenty of laughs shared along the way. I had a few clients scheduled the day after getting home and I put my new skills to work immediately. This class and Jaclyn's knowledge is going to be a turning point in the future of my small dog training business.

Jaclyn has so much patience and you can tell she is passionate about dogs and the future of dog training. I took her webinar and attended her training school. What I learned there gave me and my team the confidence to take on more detailed work in our organization. The best part of about working with her and she goes above and beyond. I would work with Jaclyn a thousand times. She’s elite and I think a representation of proper instruction in the dog training community.

This course was packed full of great information and clear explanation even with the more complex concepts. I learned so much here that New Silver School in person was not as daunting and I got to soak everything in vs being overwhelmed with so much new information. Jaclyn is so kind, great at explaining concepts and takes her time if anyone gets stuck on anything. She is extremely knowledgeable, this course is well organized and executed. Loved it, also loved how convenient it was to be able to do from home and have access to the recordings if i did happen to miss it or want to revisit a concept. Thank you Jaclyn!!!! You are amazing.

I really enjoyed the course! There was so much content packed in! Given the time difference, I watch the course on demand which meant I could pause it when needed or replay sections. You go through an build in depth notes together. I loved the addition of the short training clips to cement the learning from the topic we were just covering! Such a great foundation for those interested in this topic! Thank you :)

Jaclyn is a wonderful instructor. She is incredibly knowledgeable, breaks down information in a manner that is easy to uptake and her true passion shines through. Could not recommend her enough.
