I purchased one of Web Presence, LLC’s higher-end reputation management packages based on their assurances of comprehensive, human-written content and personalized service. Unfortunately, my experience was the opposite of what was promised. Over the course of the engagement: Many of the deliverables they provided were AI-generated, despite being marketed as written by professional human writers. I independently checked the materials using AI detection tools, and results consistently showed 94% to 100% AI content. This critical detail was never disclosed and runs counter to the service I believed I was paying for. They failed to provide me with access credentials or logins to the accounts they were allegedly managing on my behalf. When I inquired, I received vague responses but no resolution. Several features, such as social media linking, never functioned properly. Whenever I raised concerns, I was dismissed or made to feel as though I was misunderstanding their process, which felt unprofessional and unhelpful. After the final month of unsatisfactory and incomplete deliverables, I stopped payment. Rather than address my concerns, the company sent my account to a third-party debt collection agency that I have since learned is not licensed to operate in my state, raising further legal and ethical concerns about their business practices. I would caution others to carefully evaluate whether this company’s approach aligns with what you expect before committing. My experience fell far short of what was advertised.
