I'm a MSc student, preparing for my thesis. This course was a great opportunity for me to get an acceptable basis for stastical analysis and enabling me to accomplish stastical analysis of my thesis alone, besides learning more about using medical databases and searching about the research idea of my thesis. This course provided me with good background about writing and publishing research papers which has turned to be one of my solid intentions.

Over the past month (Jul 23 - Aug 23), I've dedicated my time and effort to studying Dr. Negida's Clinical Research courses, and the experience has been truly enriching! Here's a glimpse of what I've learned from each course: 📚 C1) Fundamentals of Clinical Research Methods: I gained valuable knowledge on the criteria of a research idea, how to write study protocols & how to obtain ethical approvals. Also, I learned about types of errors and biases that could impact my research findings. 📊 C2) Basics of Medical Statistics: I had exceptional training on Jamovi! It helped me to understand descriptive and inferential statistics, and most importantly, I learned how to select the proper statistical test for different scenarios. 📏 C3) How to Calculate the Sample Size: This course provided me with both theoretical and practical methodologies for determining sample sizes for different study types. 📝 C4) How to write & publish Research: writing each section of a research paper and understanding the publication process steps was invaluable. I also learned effective communication with journal editors, how to select journals for my publication, and how to spot a predatory one. 🔍 C5) Systematic Review and Meta-analysis: I learned essential skills in conducting a systematic review and using software like RevMan web and OpenMeta Analyst.
