Credit Law Center promised me a full refund IN WRITING if the credit repair process was unsuccessful. After it was unsuccessful, I was told that I needed to wait for the "final audit". I waited for that and emailed repeatedly over the last few months but still have not received a refund. I've been checking in last week and was told that the Accounting Dept is looking into it. I was suspicious about whether I'd get a refund from the time I started asking about it, when my 'attorney' did not respond to my emails. Now it appears that the whole company is just a sham.

Beware of this company! I consolidated my debts about two years ago and received a court notice because they haven't paid two of them. My consolidation covers three accounts, and I've paid every month since signing the agreement. They assigned me a lawyer, and when I called one of the accounts, they simply told me the company hadn't paid, but they couldn't speak to me because they had a lawyer. But the court notice has already been issued, and there's nothing that can be done. I have to pay out of pocket immediately because if it goes to court, I'll have to pay the court's lawyers. This company, National Credit Law Center, after you sign the agreement, every time you call, they connect you to a call center that says they'll assign you a representative who will call you back, and I've been waiting for that call for five months. It's truly awful, stressful, frustrating, and a waste of time trying to get information. But there's a law that protects us, and if this happens to you, immediately cancel your contributions to that consolidation and terminate the legal representation they provided. Reach an agreement directly with your account holders. it's easier.
