Natural Area RugsReviews of naturalarearugs.com

Samples received in timely manner and much appreciated. However the question I asked regarding Seaside availability for 8 X 10 rug still unanswered. Would appreciate response.

These rugs were replacements for ones I purchased approximately 9 years ago. These are definitely not as heavy and don’t lay flat in spots. The construction is not as nice as I’d hoped. The rugs arrived on time and as I ordered. I just hope they hold up as my other ones did.

The sisal rug is beautiful and was well packaged and delivered in a timely fashion. The reason for the 3 stars is that the backing on the rug is already disintegrating into a fine dust, which is one of the main reasons we got rid of our old rug. As soon as we unrolled it, there were fine bits of the backing material all over the floor. If we lightly run a finger along some places of the backing, it disintegrates. Very disappointing, especially given the price and that it is custom made.

It was just way chunkier than it looked in the picture. It is ok, but it does smell like dirt. The smell had dissipated a lot over the last few weeks, but it still is not quite what I had in mind, The return shipping was so expensive though, so I just kept it.

I ordered 10 pounds of remnants to make a cat scratch post. I liked the material and the patterns. Quality is good. Would consider getting a rug from this company.

Rug described as wool but was sisal. Natural Area Rugs followed up with a good faith effort to make amends.

Hampton seagrass rug is very hard and difficult to walk on with bare feet. Hope it will soften with use. Smell of latex backing is unpleasant still after a week. Do like the look and color except for thread used in binding is clear nylon? Very obvious with black.

I ordered the Edmund stair tread rugs and when I received them, I placed two of them on my stairs just to try them out. I ordered them because my small dog slips on the wood steps. He stepped on the first one and then refused to go any further. When I ran my hand over them, the natural fibers were pretty pokey. I tried walking on them with my bare feet and I didn't like the feel either. I thought they looked really nice and they were well made but if my dog won't walk on them, they defeat the purpose. I ended up returning them and just be aware that this company doesn't cover return shipping. It cost me $40.00 to ship them back. I would never order again and risk having to pay to ship something back.
