Description was way off, not soft or pleasant to walk on at all!
We were looking to replace an older rug from Natural Area Rugs that was made out of easy-to-clean materials, however that made it very hard and rough (I believe it was Sisal). My kids like to run around the house, play, and sit on the floor, but they always complained that our older rug hurt. While browsing Naturalarearugs.com I was excited to find this beautiful 'Adore' leather rug that was described as "exceptionally durable and wonderfully soft" and " it's also wonderfully soft to walk on with bare feet". We have had this rug for about two weeks and no one wants to walk on it, especially with bare feet! The way this rug is woven using strips of leather that are folded, twisted, and overlapping creates numerous locations where the leather is significantly thicker and much harder than the thin, flat areas of leather. These lumpy, hard surfaces are not pleasant to walk on at all. We are not very happy with how the description mislead us into buying a rug that was no better (possibly worse) than the rug we were trying to replace.
