I searched for a homeopathic alternative when my darling 13 year old Husky Collie mix was diagnosed through testing with Cushing's back in December and prescribed Vetroyl. Within 36 hours, Vetroyl took qualify of life away, she could not eat, drink, stand up, would not even eat turkey out of my hand. I told my family that if we wanted to put the dog down quickly, Vetroyl would help that. We told the vet Vetroyl was killing her and elected to stick with her various pill schedule including pain pills, adding an extra something further at night to help with anxiety. I got both the Cushex Drops S and M, The S drops are more overall herb health and the M drops are for the classic Cushing's symtpoms:. extreme thirst, urinating alot, panting, extreme hunger. I just ordered my second sent a few weeks ago, had gotten BOGO both times so that my parents (who help care for her during my work week days) had a set. The drops are super easy to use. I use the S drops 3 times a day, in food and snacks (dollop of wet food). I use the M drops 3-5 times a day also in food and snacks. She's alive as of today and credit some of that to these drops. It bought us several months with her. Her tail wags, she has a good appetite, will take pills still so there is quality of life there still. However, her back legs have become very weak and bowed. She has extreme arthritis in her elbows and it's generally hard for her to walk much now. To help with any urine accidents, she wears a diaper at night or when I leave for a little bit to run errands. She actually likes the diaper, I think it feels comforting to her with the snugness. She's not incontinent, it's that she drinks so much water and is thirsty alot, the M drops help with this. High levels of cortisol causes all sorts of problems. I do want to add that I had an issue with my last order (paid for expedited shipping but it came regular mail) and the company immediately credited the shipping back to my account, it only ended up delaying a day so no catastrophe, but they were very apologetic and made it right. Our furry friends are angels here on Earth and the deserve the best we can do for them.
