My visa sourceReviews of myvisasource.com

This was one of the worst professional experiences I have ever had. The firm required full payment upfront, but after receiving the money, the level of service was completely unacceptable. From the beginning, there was little evidence that the team had the experience or expertise needed to handle my case properly. I expected guidance on collecting, organizing, and strengthening the supporting documentation, but instead I was largely left on my own. There was no meaningful review of my evidence, no strategic advice, and no clear roadmap for moving the case forward. Communication was poor throughout the process. Responses were delayed, follow-ups often went unanswered, and it felt impossible to get clear information about the status of my case. The lawyers did not provide the professional legal support I was paying for, and the paralegals were equally unhelpful and disorganized. The most frustrating part is that after investing significant time, effort, and money, my case was never properly completed or submitted. I was left with the feeling that my case had been suspended indefinitely, with no accountability, no urgency, and no results. I hired this firm expecting knowledgeable legal representation and professional case management. Instead, I experienced poor communication, lack of guidance, inadequate document review, and an unfinished process despite paying the full fee upfront. Based on my experience, I would strongly discourage anyone from using this firm for an immigration case. You can NOT rely on this law firm since they are not responsive and they don't know anything. They don't have a good lawyer and paralegals and also if an officer needs more information in the middle of the case you will be left alone on your own. They don't care about the deadlines and their responsibilities towards clients. The only thing they care is getting your money illegally upfront and leave you on your own. After two years they did not submit my case. The lawyer left the firm and they did not even corrected and produced a single document. My case was straightforward and I am already residing in the US but they could not and don't want to do the job properly. At the end you will end up with court and suing them for the fraud. So the best piece of advise is NOT to trust them and do not put your time, money and immigration matters on their hands. It's a total loss and waste.

This company is run by two fraudster Sunny.S Dhillon and S. Mann. They took my 2000$ saying they will work on my visa extension. And after the payment they blocked my contact.

I paid in full, on time, exactly as agreed through their flexible payment plan. There were no delays, no missed payments, and no issues on my end. I came to this company for help with a rehabilitation process expecting professionalism and clear guidance. Instead, I dealt with over a year of delays, poor communication, and almost no real progress. Communication was one of the worst parts of this experience. I sent multiple emails that went unanswered for days or even weeks. When I did get responses, they were often vague or didn’t address my questions at all. It constantly felt like I had to chase them just to get basic updates. Calling didn’t help either. Receptionists frequently refused to transfer calls to the appropriate department and instead said someone would call back. Those callbacks rarely happened. I was told more than once I would hear back “shortly,” only to wait days or even a full week with no response. At one point, I was even moved from one lawyer to another without any notice or explanation, which added even more confusion to an already disorganized process. After months of no real progress, I requested a refund. That turned into another issue. The person who reached out about the refund became extremely difficult to contact afterward. Communication remained slow and inconsistent. Then came the biggest problem — the refund itself. For a company that presents itself as professional, they were unable to complete a basic wire transfer correctly — not once, but multiple times. I had to step in, contact my bank myself, gather the correct information, and explain exactly what needed to be done. I provided clear instructions multiple times, including the required “For Further Credit” details. Even after that, they still made the same mistakes: The first transfer was done incorrectly and had to be returned The second transfer was also done incorrectly and failed again At that point, it showed a serious lack of attention to detail and accountability. This wasn’t a one-time error — it was repeated. This entire experience has been extremely frustrating and stressful. What should have been a straightforward process turned into months of waiting, constant follow-ups, and correcting mistakes that should never have happened in the first place. For a company that presents itself as experienced and professional, the level of disorganization, lack of communication, and repeated errors is unacceptable. I would not recommend this company based on my experience.

TL;DR: do not use this firm. My husband and I had an extremely difficult and disappointing experience with MVS after hiring them for a spousal sponsorship application, and we cannot under any circumstances recommend their services. Immigration applications are stressful enough, and working with this firm made the process significantly more overwhelming, confusing, emotionally draining, and financially taxing than it ever needed to be. Our initial consultation with Sunny went well and gave us the impression that we would be working with a dedicated, well-organized, and competent firm. We were quoted a reasonable timeline to expect from hiring them to application submission, and based on this call we decided to move forward with them. Unfortunately, the rest of our engagement with MVS fell sorely below this standard right away, as if once they sold us their service and had our money, the interest in client satisfaction fell away completely. Our overall experience was marked by extremely slow communication, unanswered emails, contradictory/unclear guidance, and a general incompetence by which we were genuinely baffled. MVS left us feeling like we were navigating this process alone despite having paid a large sum of money for "professional" support. The firm relies heavily on outdated systems, requiring us to send sensitive documents through email rather than using secure, modern tools, which are advertised on their website, though we saw no evidence of this being available or in use at all. We saw repeated errors being made in the forms and supporting documents that were being prepared by MVS, most of which reappeared even after we flagged and corrected them--multiple times! It was quite frustrating and worrying to see mistakes keep coming back in such a high-stakes application. This ended up happening so often that our trust in the ability of MVS to submit a correctly completed application on our behalf was completely eroded. MVS also changed both our attorney and our case analyst at different times, but we were never directly informed of these handovers and found out accidentally both times; once through an out-of-office email to our previous lawyer and then separately when a new case analyst asked us, out of the blue, to resend documents we had already submitted. This lack of transparency and continuity created even more delays and confusion, and added to the sense that our file wasn’t being handled with any care at all. Despite being told in our initial consultation that the process would take 3–4 weeks from document submission to application submission, months passed with little progress, mixed messages, and no clear timeline to completion. When we asked for updates or rough estimates, we were told that providing timelines was “against internal policy,” which, again, contradicted the marketing on their website and the information we were given during our consult. By the time we ended the engagement, we were emotionally exhausted and had lost all confidence in the process. For something as important and personal as an immigration application, we expected organization, communication, and professionalism. Instead, the experience negatively affected our well-being and incurred thousands of dollars in extra costs due to the months of delays. To top it all off, when we asked for a refund, they offered to give us back 30% of what we paid on the condition that we sign a non-disparagement document (a gag order) legally preventing us from sharing about our experience with MVS, written or oral and whether true or not, permanently. It was greatly concerning to see such ethically problematic business practices being wielded, even though they changed their minds after we pointed this out to them when we refused to sign the document. Shocking, disappointing, frustrating, expensive. We sincerely wish we had gone elsewhere.

I read the reviews before hiring My Visa Source, and they were glowing in a way that feels less like consumer feedback and more like choreography. In retrospect, that should have been my first clue. Because when you step outside the Google bubble, into Reddit threads, Facebook expat groups, or Trustpilot, you begin to notice a different conversation. There are recurring claims (by others, not me) that negative reviews are quietly discouraged, nudged, or edited away. Two Trustpilot reviewers as of January 12, 2025, also noted that the business name listed there does not match the firm’s actual operating name. I can’t verify those claims firsthand. I can say they made our own experience feel less anomalous. Our relationship with My Visa Source began with urgency. A salesperson—perhaps a paralegal, insisted there was a narrow, must-hit deadline for our PR application. It turned out there was no such deadline. What was presented as necessity now reads as theater. Once we signed, communication became the defining feature of the engagement, specifically, its absence. We met our actual lawyer exactly once. After that, emails went unanswered for days. We were never told when staff would be unavailable. We were left guessing who was responsible for our file, and when—if ever, we’d hear back. We tried to be model clients. We consolidated questions, attached prior threads, summarized asks at the top of emails so no one had to dig. Responses, when they arrived, addressed a single question at a time, leaving the rest to drift back into silence. We raised our concerns directly. Nothing changed. To be clear, I understand law firms are busy. Busy is acceptable. Opaque is not. And misrepresenting timelines, especially when people’s lives and plans are involved, is something else entirely. When we formally terminated the relationship, the firm responded as if termination were merely a suggestion, pausing our file while waiting for an attorney to return, despite the fact that termination doesn’t require approval. That moment crystallized the experience: a fundamental misunderstanding of client agency, paired with a troubling casualness about professional obligations. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend My Visa Source. If you do proceed, I’d suggest reading beyond the five-star summaries, and asking very direct questions before you sign anything.

I agree with what the user named Nandhini wrote below. Seeing MVS changing the company name on this page is concerning. It appears to be an attempt to make it harder for people to find their reviews through Google. Instead of taking accountability or addressing the concerns being raised, this feels like an effort to hide. If there’s nothing to be concerned about, there should be no reason not to stand behind your real company name. Transparency matters - especially in immigration services, where people are trusting you with their futures. Avoiding visibility doesn’t help clients, and it doesn’t rebuild trust. Taking responsibility would. If this doesn't show how ill-intentioned they are, I don't know what will.

I read the Google reviews before hiring this firm, and they were glowing in a way that almost felt statistically impossible. Which, in retrospect, should have prompted more skepticism. Because if you widen the lens just a bit, to Reddit or TrustPilot for example, you start to see a different meta-narrative: allegations that negative reviews are quietly encouraged to disappear. I don’t know if that’s true in every case, but it does add an interesting footnote to the concept of their current 4.8 rating here on Google. Our experience began with a hard sell. A salesperson (or possibly a paralegal?) insisted there was a narrow deadline we could absolutely meet for our PR application. This turned out not to be true at all. The deadline was neither narrow nor real, which reframes that urgency as theater rather than necessity. Once we signed, communication became the defining characteristic of the relationship, specifically, its absence. We met our actual lawyer exactly once, and that meeting coincided with the paralegal going on PTO for her wedding. The problem wasn’t the wedding (congratulations to her), but that no one informed us she would be unavailable. This created even more delays in communications. To be clear, I understand law firms are busy, especially now. But there’s a difference between busy and opaque. Emails would go unanswered for long stretches, and we often had to chase responses. We actively tried to be “good clients”: consolidating questions into single emails, copying prior questions at the bottom, attaching previous documents so no one had to search. So that they had everything in one email and were alerted to this at the top of a new email. Despite this, responses routinely addressed only one email at a time and we were left hanging with related questions that had inevitably popped up, back in the queue and sometimes wholly unanswered. We explicitly communicated our dissatisfaction to both our lawyer and our assigned representative. Nothing changed. Not the cadence, not the clarity, not the experience. There’s a version of this review where I end by saying something like, “Your mileage may vary.” But that feels dishonest. Based on our experience, I would not recommend this service.

This page is for the real My Visa Source Law MDP immigration company located in Toronto and Vancouver, Canada. They have claimed the profile and changed the company name. DON'T BE FOOLED FOLKS!!! The reviews you see here are real and are associated with MVS Law. They're trying to hide themselves from being shown on Google Search results but THEY WILL as long as we keep putting our honest reviews here and mentioning their real company name. Let's keep it coming.
