They really tried me! Before I booked my flight I called customer service to ask questions to make sure they were a reputable company. After gaining the trust I booked my flight. Suddenly I get a call from a rep letting me the price I paid is no longer available so they would have to increase my fares $100+. Oh no! Please cancel my flight. I will book with a trusted airline. They are a straight up scam!

MyTicketDeal.com may be a TrustPilot verified company. But do not trust this company's tactics. Read all the 1 star reviews and it pretty much sums up my experience. I got the call back because my transaction was pending. "Brian" claimed the low fare option I chose was no longer available. I got the $241 upsell, which I nearly agreed to...until I was called back by "Adrian" when they attempted to book my flight on my behalf. They needed the OTP (One Time Password) I received on my cell phone. The OTP text begins..."DON'T share this code." Thankfully, the airline company put that check in place. When I told "Adrian" to cancel the transaction, I received another hard sell. I bailed. I did not supply my cell number to MyTicketDeal.com. But I did supply my credit card number. And why did the online form ask for the Email associated with my bank when I provided my credit card info? Who does that? Another red flag. And in this day and age, why can't software tell you if a fare is not available? Please retry. And why is the fare that is no longer available still advertised on MyTicketDeal.com? Isn't the whole point of the (quite effective) search engine to pull from available fares? I went directly to the airline website. The original fare was still available. So I booked direct. No accusations, but my hope is that this verified company is not just a front to collect and sell personal/financial information for the black market.

Purchased ticket only to be told no sorry fair is not $1000 more than quoted. When searched again from different device was quoted the same original fare. Total scam!

Do not try to buy ticket from this website, is scam if you are scheduling a important business, work or a planned trip, they will canceled your ticket a last minute and tell how they can help get a ticket because the price has increased, and they will ask 3× the price they canceled it for. 6/19/24 i boughta ticket, they canceled my ticket on 620/24, I bought another ticket $ 116.00 on 621/24, they canceled it and called me and said your ticket is canceled mam, but i can get a ticket for u for the same date, but is now $375.00. I also have a friend who advised me after the fact that I shouldn't never try again, this same website made him buy a ticket for $500. Because they canceled his flight and he was going on a self contract job, if not he was going to lose his job. Go on cheaptickets.com or priceline.com, good experience.

Total scam. I found a flight at a great price, put in my CC number and ten minutes later, someone called to tell me that the flight was no longer available (trying to upsell me something) - as the guy was talking about how the flight was no longer available, I looked it up on the airline website and found the flight - both legs still available - I said no thank you, and purchased the flight on the airline site.

You will not get the price shown when you go to book your tickets. You will get a phone call after you enter all your info with a story about how those seats aren't available and they will want you to pay more. Mine was almost $200 more. So made sure they cancelled and just booked directly with the airline for close to the original price this site quoted. What a joke. Do not use this site.

They lure you in by offering a low price. Once you provide all your details including your cc information you click on confirm booking. You then are sent to a page that says your booking is now in the verification process and advises that you will receive a call with confirmation. They called back only to advise that there were no more seats available at the price that we purchased it at and then told us the new cost would be $300 more than what we agreed when we booked. We told them to cancel it. They then tried to offer us a discount that would end up being $150 more instead of $300. Way too shady of a way to book flights. We told them to just cancel. One woukd think by clicking on "book flight" after entering all personal information including cc information that you are actually booking. No it's just their tactic to call back with a higher cost. Not sure how this company has such high reviews. I can't imagine we are the first. You shouldn't have to go thru a verification process after providing all the details and the billing information. There was even a time clock countdown which indicated how much remaining time was left to book in order to receive the price they quoted. They give you 30 minutes to complete, and we completed it in 8 minutes. Why provide a countdown if you are not honoring the price at the time of the booking? So if you use this company, consider yourself forewarned.
