For many years I wanted to write a book for my family, particularly so the younger generations could appreciate just how much life has changed and improved over the past 80 years. My Stories Matter gave me the confidence to take on what felt like a daunting challenge. Writing was something I had done very little of throughout my life, so it was reassuring to know that their team was always available to answer my questions and guide me through the process. Once I got started, I found the experience incredibly rewarding. I worked with Kelly and the team at My Stories Matter for several months this year helping my mother prepare her memoir. We went through several rounds changes and moved many photos, and made edits. Kelly's suggestions were always very helpful and each round of changes was done meticulously. Kelly was even able to get the books delivered, wrapped in birthday ribbons, on my mother's 83rd birthday. She was overwhelmed. Overall it was a great experience and the books look so professional, far beyond our expectations. I highly recommend this company.

I found that working with My Stories Matter was a great experience. All the staff were so helpful and responsive to my requests. The book turned out great with the photos and the way it was printed. I wrote what, to me, important memories of my family and experiences. The only negative would be having an ISBN number on a private family memoire particularly if a family member is in a sensitive position. I was assured that it could not be accessed, but with some peoples computer skills you never know what could happen. I would urge you to keep the material as private as you can. All your staff were extremely helpful and I would convey that to anyone who is seeking to write a personal memoire. Like most of us, we spend years compiling wonderful photos on our mobile phones and digital cameras. I was looking at putting together a permanent hard cover keepsake, of our amazing travel adventures together over the years. Something that could be easily shared with others and would last for years. My Stories Matter was the perfect choice! From start to finish, their customer service and support while putting my book together, was exceptional. I couldn't have been happier with the finished product. I created a book with my father for his ninetieth birthday because he had many stories he liked to tell friends and family, and I wanted to record them for posterity. The process of making and editing the book was also a way for us to connect regularly, as we don't see each other that often. I started with a collection of essays he had already written over the years and that I had collected in a file, as well as some family photos. The support from the MSM team couldn't have been more helpful; they were there to guide us every step of the way and so enthusiastic about our project. It made a big difference! The final book is even more beautiful than we expected, and many members of our family have bought a copy. As it is custom printed, it is a bit of an investment, but because of the quality of the content (thanks to my dad) and to the product (thanks to MSM), everyone has been delighted to have this keepsake.

My personal review about my experience with My Stories Matter by Paul Mayer. As a proud U.S. Army Veteran, I had a story that happened back in 1969 while I was in Vietnam where I was captured by the Vietcong and later escaped to return home to my family, especially my new born daughter who was born two weeks before my capture. I lived with PTSD for over 50 years as a result of what happened over there and during that time, I shared my story with many of my veteran friends and many of them told me over the years that I needed to write a book about my story. Not being a writer, I finally found a ghostwriter to interview me and put the story into a manuscript for publishing it. The book was written to help other veterans like me who suffered PTSD like I went through to help them learn to cope with it like I did. I had a lot of memories to go on as I was in the Army for eleven and a half years as a Army photographer with many photographs to choose from and stories in my mind. The My Stories Matter team were so helpful to guide me through the process of creating my book that it was a piece of cake from start to finish. The best part was when the book was published and arrived at my home and I had it in my hands and could share it with the world and my family.
