Two Fire Trucks, Six Firefighters, and No Support from ADT
Within two months of installing our ADT security system in Columbia, SC, a malfunctioning carbon monoxide detector resulted in two fire trucks and many firefighters responding to our home. Later that night, the detector malfunctioned again. I couldn't get anyone from ADT on the phone to help resolve the issue, even after waiting approximately 20 minutes. When I contacted Safe Haven about this experience, their response was to offer me a $20 credit. That's it. For an expensive, professionally monitored security system, I expected considerably better equipment reliability, emergency support, and customer service. I would absolutely not recommend Safe Haven. When something goes wrong outside normal business hours, you may find yourself on your own.
