FROM LAW TO ARTThe idea behind myPatentPrints.com came while I was still practicing law. I would come across hundreds of old patents with beautiful drawings. The details and artistry – especially in patents from the late 19th and early 20th century – always amazed me. I also found historical patents of important inventions fascinating. Over the years I collected some of the more interesting ones. Finally one day I decided to print a couple as wall art. The result of seeing a beautiful patent enlarged and framed really excited and planted an idea in my head.So, I started collecting more patents and looked for the ones that have historical significance, artistic value or are just plain interesting.
