Used U pack to move furniture from Florida to north Carolina Communication- excellent Realistic estimate of delivery snd pick up Fair pricing Could have not been happier with this experience.

I am posting this to warn other consumers. I contracted with MoveSafe Relocation (Lake Worth, FL) for a move from South Florida to the Chicago suburbs. They quoted $4,828.97 for approximately 900 cubic feet, based on photos and videos of all furniture and boxes that I provided in advance. I paid a $2,000 deposit two weeks before the move, with the balance to be paid at pickup and delivery. Only after signing did I learn that MoveSafe is essentially a broker, not the actual moving company. They subcontracted the move to Southern Van Lines. On move day, after my belongings were already loaded on the truck, I was pulled aside by the on-site supervisor and told the shipment was suddenly 1,500 cubic feet—nearly double the estimate—and that the new cost would be approximately $9,000. At that moment, I had no real choice. I had to vacate my condo that day, and my possessions were already in their control. When I immediately tried to contact my MoveSafe sales rep (Andrew Melici), my calls went straight to voicemail. I later discovered my number had been blocked. That was the moment I realized this was not a mistake, but a coordinated bait-and-switch. To keep my belongings moving, I was forced to pay the inflated charges to Southern Van Lines by credit card. I later pursued this through my credit card’s fraud department for eight weeks, unsuccessfully—because the payment structure is deliberately split between broker and mover. The final insult came at delivery in Chicago: one driver arrived alone at 6:30 PM, had to call a friend to help unload, and then asked for a tip. When I mentioned that I had been charged for 1,500 cubic feet, the driver himself said there was no way the load was that large and estimated it at 800–900 cubic feet—right in line with the original quote. This appears to be a systematic scheme: Broker provides a low estimate Takes a non-refundable deposit Subcontractor inflates volume after loading Customer is trapped and forced to pay If you are considering MoveSafe Relocation: do not. Learn from my experience and protect yourself.

Loadrans LLC was extremely professional. Thank you Eric from Denver for making my move quick and easy!

If you are thinking about using coastal moving company for your move please don’t! Run for your dear life because they are the worst company I have ever had a deal with** I spoke with one of their agents about moving my stuffs from Virginia to California and gave him a list of the items I have including the furnitures and mattresses and he specifically told me everything would still be within the minimum. He gave me a total cost of $3379 paid a deposit of $1700 dollars and was told I would pay the first half of the balance on pick up and the other half on delivery. So connected me with GES transportation and the driver came and told me he was going to do another estimate of over $6000 when he saw my stuffs and I told him the company already gave me an estimate but he was furious and said my things was more than that and threatened that I would loose my 1700 deposit if I refused to let him pick it. I called the company and they changed the whole narrative, they told me my minimum was 300 cubit and seems like my things are more than that. So I let them know I gave the agent I made reservation with the list of the things I have and he made him realized it’s still within the minimum that in fact I can add additional 30 boxes and it would still be okay. So I think the agent lied to me about my estimate, he just want me to pay the deposit which I’m thinking belongs to the company and then leave me to deal with the driver when he comes. At the end of the day, I had to add additional $1500 so he could pick some more items but had to leave behind my sofa, recliner chair and TV stand because then I would have to add more money. Now to the delivery, I was told he would deliver in a few days. He picked up on Saturday and asked me my earliest availability to receive my stuffs and I told him Monday or Tuesday. I am typing this review on a Wednesday and I haven’t gotten my things yet, the driver hasn’t been picking my calls not replying my text so I called coastal movers again and they said he hasn’t even started coming yet that he would call me at the beginning of next week to let me know when he would be delivering. I am in an empty house and don’t even have a clue of when I should be expecting my stuffs. Coastal movers and GES transport are the worst companies I have had a deal with! IF YOU LOVE YOURSELF AND YOUR MENTAL HEALTH PLEASE DO NOT USE THEM. THEY ARE VERY UNRELIABLE, UNTRUTHFUL AND DON’T CARE ABOUT HOW URGENT YOU NEED YOUR STUFFS, THEY JUST TAKE THEIR TIME. VERY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THEM.

A client's client left a fake review on us. This is totally false as he claimed that we provided him a quotation and charged more. Which is untrue as we quoted our client, who in-turn quoted to him. Mymovingreviews accepted this review without doing any due dilligence. I would have asked for the quotation and contract to verify. But as can be seen this was not done, and hence a review could be posted on us Mymovingreview said it will take 30days to review, this is just too long, and would have cause bad reputation by then.

I was able to get a refund because of the review I posted on MyMovingReviews.com The moving company I used is monitoring their reviews online and a few hours after activating my review I got a call from the office. We were able to settle the matter and I removed the review.

They keep taking my negative review off for New City Moving USA LLC. I've left it several times and they delete it. They clearly work with the moving companies to control negative reviews. I even emailed them and told them to put it back up and they won't respond. Babies.

Honestly I hope this is helpful, don’t use this company…EVER!
