On July 8 I handed a parcel to a Meest…
On July 8 I handed a parcel to a Meest dropoff point in NAcogdoches, TX (CVS on North Street) for delivery to Kharkiv, Ukraine in a timeframe that their lying website called "4 - 5 weeks." They handed me a receipt with what I thought was a tracking number. It was a random collection of meaningless numbers. I contacted them to ask why the tracking number did not work, and they said "it does not get a tracking number until it is on the ship," which is already illegally horrid handling. I was told I'd receive a confirmation email within 24 hours. 11 days later I had not received an email. I called them to ask, and was told "you get the confirmation email when FedEx gets it. It's still here in our warehouse, and FedEx comes by every so often to get them." That was their exact words. "Every so often." In other words, after having the parcel in their possession for 11 days, they could not tell me where it was other than "we think it's here in our warehouse somewhere," had not been able to provide a tracking number, gave a FALSE tracking number to avoid admitting that, and the parcel was not even in a courier's hands yet. To add to this, they then stated "as soon as FedEx has it it will get there in 6 - 8 weeks." So 4 - 5 weeks turns into "6 - 8 weeks from the indeterminate time when we finally get it into the hands of a courier and we don't know when that will be." Lawsuit and possible felony charges inbound.
