I was looking for a safe mattress for my two year old son and I looked into this one because of the price. I was unsure about it because some reviews talked about the mattress smelling so bad, but decided to go for it. Shipping was very fast! When I opened it, the reviews were right-it smelled like sheep! I didn't need to use it immediately, so it sat out for a couple weeks. I was able to put it out in the sun for one day and that helped a lot. In total, it probably sat around for 3 weeks before I put it in my son's room. I have a very sensitive nose and I could still smell the sheep smell when I laid on it. I was worried my son would wake up smelling like sheep. Once I put the bedding on, however, I couldn't smell anything. My son did not wake up smelling like sheep and his room did not smell. A lot of reviews said this mattress was too firm. I like nice soft cushy mattresses, so I was expecting this to feel like a rock based on other reviews, but it doesn't. It is very comfortable, but I have not actually slept on it. We have now had the mattress for about 6 months and I am so happy with it. When I remove the bedding and smash my face into the mattress, only then can I smell a faint sheep smell. It really is not an issue. Don't forget why you are buying a "green" mattress in the first place-to protect yourself or your children from harmful chemicals! Your money will be well spent on this mattress if that is your number one priority.

When we were in the market for a new mattress we decided to go with My Green Mattress. We were a little nervous without a lie down test or visit to the store in Chicago we ordered our mattress and frame. Our order came quickly, and we set up our new bed that morning. Initially the mattress felt a little too firm, but we used it we quickly realized how comfortable it was. Our sleep has improved, our bodies are rested. What a great product. Seeing and experiencing our bed, our daughter has purchased two frames and a mattress for our grandson. Thanks Green Mattress for such a great product!

This was our first latex mattress, having had traditional inner spring and a sleep number-type bed in the past. We wanted to get a Cal King since i'm well over 6' tall, and purchased an adjustable base to help with my back problems and my wife's reflux. The latex bed is ideal for an adjustable mattress since it will bend and flex and retain its original shape without "memory" like the other types. Though it was expensive in comparison to more traditional types, I've been very pleased with the latex, and My Green Mattress had excellent communication, sage advice when it comes to the different types to create the right amount of support. I'm sleeping much better, and really hate getting out of bed! The 100-night guarantee put my mind at ease and constructing the mattress was a piece of cake with my wife's help.

It's exactly what I need. It arrived promptly. Customer service answered my one question. I put it together myself with no problems. It is solid and strong. I need the storage space under it - perfect.

Our guest room mattress needed replacing and we wanted one using natural materials over the very toxic and unsustainable options of the majority offered. Price was definitely an issue as unfortunately the choice to go green (why it's still just a choice and not standard will always be a point of contention) usually comes with a hefty tag...but I found My Green Mattress and am SO SO happy I did! It's super quality, nice and firm and with the additional natural latex topper we bought it's absolutely lovely to sleep on - it has proven its worth many times over since it's used quite frequently as a snoring escape room! It was so easy to set up and I personally really loved the fresh earthy smell of the mattress...a bit like hay, but for those who don't like this sort of thing, it disappears quickly. This mattress is a sure bet all around...made in the USA, organic, wool, chemical free and very affordable!!!
