About My Green Mattress

My Green Mattress was founded by Tim Masters. Tim is an experienced businessman, master craftsman, and devoted family man. Tim's daughter, Emily, inspired him to expand his offerings to include all natural mattresses. Shortly after Emily was born, it was apparent that she suffered from eczema and allergies. Tim and his wife, Cindy, took Emily to see the best pediatric dermatologists, but also did their own research and found that all-natural products could help alleviate Emily’s symptoms.Tim realized it was time to offer all-natural mattresses to his customers, and rushed to put one in his daughter’s crib. Emily is now sleeping on a twin-size, all-natural mattress handcrafted by her Dad. She is a happy, healthy little girl that loves to play with her three sisters, Rylee, Madelyn, Megan, and with her brother, Kyle.Tim began working as an apprentice at family-owned, Quality Sleep Shop, that was established in 1968. As an apprentice, Tim mastered the art of mattress making. He eventually bought the business, and has expanded it with the addition of the My Green Mattress division to keep up with the ever changing needs of his customers.

Very Pleased
I bought the Pure Eco one-sided mattress in queen size. Shipping was fast. There is absolutely no odor issue. I am not sure why some others have had problems with this issue. I had none at all. It smelled very faintly like a fresh washed wool sweater. And even then I had to put my nose to the mattress to smell it. And that dissipated after a few days. The mattress is very firm so with with help from customer service I added their latex topper which fixed that issue. I'm very pleased with both purchases and would not hesitate to buy more from My Green Mattress. Love that all products are organic and eco friendly.

Great mattress!!
The mattress is great - very comfortable! We did have some loose threads at the bottom and contacted the company. They got back to me within hours and offered a couple of solutions. We are very happy with our purchase!

Plush to Perfect
Did much research on natural latex as a replacement to a 12-year plush mattress that was too soft. The 9" latex was perfect. It sat on a link spring platform. The order arrived promptly. Opening the package was straightforward. Five stars.

Good quality transitional mattress for a child!
Mattress was purchased for my son. From a 7 year old perspective, he loves it! Easy ordering, arrived quickly and was easy to unwrap & put on his bed frame. Very good quality. It did have a little odor, but that was combined with a new natural pine frame & a new wool protector. We let his room air out for 2 weeks before letting him sleep in there. No smell from the mattress or protector (I do still smell a faint scent from the wood frame!) It is heavy, though, as expected. Looking forward to replacing all of our mattresses!
