Easy to follow and use Not sure my family liked the role playing
Response from My Discovery Destination!Oct 31, 2023
I'm glad you are finding the Discovery Hunt easy to follow and use. I'd love to hear more about your experience with the role playing and what we can do to make it better. It is such an important part of arming our kids with the tools they need to stay drug-free, so let's find a way to make it more fun for the kids to do. Thanks!

Loved having an interactive experience…but it was super depressing that the top placement was alphabetical. 😭

Hi, Felipe and Laura-- Thank you for your feedback-- it's very valuable for us. I had never even thought about how that might feel-- I will definitely mention that to Goosechase and see if they can make any changes there. Maybe listing it by who gets to the top first? Please keep in mind that this review is for My Discovery Destination! and the Discovery Hunt concept itself and not for the Goosechase App. If you feel the 'Discovery Hunt' concept and experience itself is a 5-star experience and the reason for your 4-star review was based on specifics associated with the app functionaltiy, I would appreciate it if you could revise your review to indicate that (please leave the 'text' review so others can see the feedback -- just update the stars to represent your review of the concept). If you believe the Discovery Hunt concept itself was only a 4-star experience then leave it as is. THANK YOU!

I enjoyed some missions more than others. I had to figure out how to get into my IG and Twitter accounts, because I don’t use them very often. I was overwhelmed to see 145 new missions this morning. 😳 It was kind of fun to talk to vendors, even though a lot of them were businesses over whose use I have no influence. I was sorry that by the time I got through the gift line there were only four types of gifts left. My bad; I guess I should’ve ditched the first breakout session.

Hi, Susan! Thank you for your feedback-- it's very valuable for us. I will pass this along to the 'Show Up' Team. Please keep in mind that this review is for My Discovery Destination! and the Discovery Hunt concept itself and not for the Show Up team's choice on how to use the tool (or how many missions to include-- I agree-- it ended up being way more than any other group has ever included). If you feel the 'Discovery Hunt' concept and experience itself is a 5-star experience and the reason for your 4-star review was based on specifics associated with the 'Show Up' team's use of the tool, I would appreciate it if you could revise your review to indicate that (please leave the 'text' review so others can see the value of limiting the number of missions-- just update the stars to represent your review of the concept). If you believe the Discovery Hunt concept and tool itself was only a 4-star experience then leave it as is. THANK YOU!

It’s user friendly.

Hi, Mandy! I'd love to know more about the 4-star review. Your feedback is brief, but positive, but the review is 4-star rather than 5-star. I'd love to heard more. Please do keep in mind that this review is for My Discovery Destination! and the Discovery Hunt concept itself and not for the App or for the Show Up team's choice on how to use the tool. If you feel overall the 'Discovery Hunt' concept and experience itself is a 5-star experience we'd love to get a 5-star review! THANK YOU!

Most of the challenges were fairly easy. However, if one does not have Instagram, it made it difficult to fully participate. So, if you are trying to minimize social media the scavenger hunt would make it harder.

Hi, Teresa! Thank you for your feedback-- it's very valuable for us. I will pass this along to the 'Show Up' Team. You bring up a VERY VALID point! Please keep in mind that this review is for My Discovery Destination! and the Discovery Hunt concept itself and not for the Show Up team's choice on how to use the tool. We had no control over that. THANK YOU!

I appreciated that there was a variety of types of assignments or “hunts.” Some were super easy like “What book are you currently reading” and others took a bit more time like researching the upcoming keynote. It was fun to take a bit of time to see upcoming vendors and breakout sessions.

Hi, Meredith -- Thank you for your feedback-- it's very valuable for us. I will pass this along to the 'Show Up' Team. I'm wondering what it would take to get a 5-star review. Is there anything that could have been done differently? Please keep in mind that this review is for My Discovery Destination! and the Discovery Hunt concept itself and not for the App itself, or the Show Up team's choice on how to use the tool. THANK YOU!

Fun activities for a family outing
Response from My Discovery Destination!Apr 11, 2023
Thanks, Chris. I'm guessing this review is from the Enrich Wellness event in SLC and not from the Discovery Family Adventures, right? What could we have done to earn a 5-star review?

Love the idea and the flexibility to do the adventures from home. Getting prizes for specific holiday hunts sometimes takes a while, but the monthly family rewards for the main family adventure are very easy to use.
Response from My Discovery Destination!Jan 2, 2023
Thank you for the review, Cher! I know getting prizes to you takes us some time because we don't actually have an active community coordinator in your area. Technically, the prizes should be limited to the areas where we have funding (thus, active coordinators), but I hate to leave out any family just because we don't have funding for the area they live in, so I spring for their prizes out of my own pocket. At least for now I've been able to do that. Hopefully we'll have funding for your area soon.
