Understaffed. Email answered weeks later. Shipped me wrong pen and asked for it shipped back before shipping right one which resulted in a delay. Emailed twice to follow-up. Nothing like ordering at Thanksgiving and getting an email today that the pen will arrive in 7-10 business days which brings it in around Jan 17th. Will miss both holiday and birthday gift giving opportunities.

It has been 3 times that my shipments had missing items. MUJI did not send follow up email regarding the missing items. It was time-consuming to contact MUJI Customer Service to have my complaints resolved. Very frustrated!

I bought 2 shirt from Muji but I received only 1, I keep sending them email but I did not get reply my email and I called them no answer. Also the shirt like paper tissue so bad quality. So, where is my other order. I need my money back. Do not buy anymore from Muji, this is the first and the last I purchase. No more.

I bought a reed diffuser which I cannot smell a hint of scent even when putting my nose close to the bottleneck, so I wrote an email to the customer service team. Now It's been A WEEK, no one ever got back to me. I used to be a big fan of Muji back when I was in Asia, but I will definitely not shop with Muji.usa in the future. I can't believe Muji is ruining their reputation like this. So disappointed.

I purchased eight items and only received one item. I contacted the online service help and only received a piece of information with "a ticket number on behalf" of your request. There is no further update information, no piece of information about my missing order items. It has been seven days since I reported my case. Surprisingly a Japanese brand company was doing a service like this. Muji products are good, but the online service is not doing good; eventually, the worst experience I have ever had. My suggestion is to go buy in the store and don't do Muji online shopping.

Probably the most consistently awful customer service I have ever dealt with. My order hadn’t been shipped out for 3 weeks. They only shipped it AFTER I reached out to customer service twice. They clearly forgot to send it. I ordered two shirts, returned both of them because I didn’t like how see through it was. They refunded one and refused to refund the second because they said it was “dirty” despite me never wearing it. Now they are “looking into it” and I’m assuming I’ll never hear back. They have the shirt and my money. Listen to the negative feedback on all these reviews. MUJI US is awful. I’m sure in store it’s fine because they can’t accuse you of damaging merchandise that has never been opened. I will amend the review if they actually get back to me.

Horrible customer service. If I could give them a 0 I would. I never received a package that they said was delivered (I checked my mailroom, neighbors, etc.; no package turned up and the mail carrier couldn't find it). I tried calling their customer service line 10 times and never got a response. I tried emailing them three times and did not get a response until almost two weeks later. My response to that email did not get another response until another two weeks. Will not shop with Muji again.

Abysmal customer service. I returned two items to the store in October 2020 and never received the credit on my account. I have followed up by email multiple times and IF they respond it's a general email sent a week later. I will never purchase from them online ever again, which is a shame because the store can have nice things, albeit sometimes very very very cheaply made and extremely overpriced.
