If time goes back
If time goes back, I would do it myself using youtube with less than one hour of simple work; they charged me about 600$ while the part cost 120$. they will trick you to pay a deposit, then you get stuck.

This Mr. Planners of Decatur Indiana is a horrible place for your business. I have a refrigerator in need of repair for about a month with all types of excuses from them.I try calling and get the runaround with voice messages. When I do get someone they say my parts not in yet and maybe we can get it soon. A month later still no part and no fix it date. Don't use them!!!!!!!!

Mr. Appliance of Macon tried to fix it stove. I thought over $500 was way to high for two elements but we thought it would be easier than having a new one delivered. Boy were we wrong! First off the parts were back ordered so after two weeks and a down payment of $260 a tech finally came to the house to do the repair. The tech breaks both elements during the install. I feel bad for the guy.... he says they are super fragile and is really worried about having to do this all over again. Says the company won't stock these parts cause they're so fragile. So we say alright just refund our money and we'll go buy a stove. Don't want to wait another 2 weeks without an oven. That's a full month...3 hours after the tech leaves us with a broken stove the company sends us a bill for the remaining money for the repair! THE REPAIR THEY DIDN'T REPAIR! So we figure it's a mistake but nope. They FORGED our signature on the completion order! The owner finally calls to say he refunded our money but it was only $160 because he charging us a diagnostic fee. So 2 weeks wasted, 90 bucks gone and we still don't have an oven! The only thing diagnosed here is that Mr. Appliance of Macon is incompetent...

BE WARNED: I contracted this shop to re-attach an existing dishwasher to cabinets after a new countertop was installed and to repair/replace a failed hinge on my DCS oven door. I agreed to a double service charge amount, one per each appliance, but that the shop would apply the service charges to the repair cost. The dishwasher was re-attached and I paid for the service in full (a whopping $275). Regarding the oven door hinge, I was quoted and agreed to pay over $500 for the repair. However, the shop later advised that they could not find/order a replacement hinge through their normal suppliers and therefore they could not complete the repair. At the same time, the shop proceeded to charge me the service fee. I advised that I was able to find a replacement part on Amazon in 5 minutes and that I wanted them to fix the oven hinge. The shop refused because they do not want to deal with Amazon. They also advised that they would charge half of the service charge while not fixing my appliance and explaining to me that they have a business to run in a condescending tone. In my opinion, dealing with this company is likely a huge mistake I would strongly advise against it.

Took 3 weeks just to get my washer fixed and the cost for repairs was 490 dollars. If i knew the hassel and headache beforehand i would have done business elsewhere. I do not recommend this company at all.

Mr Appliance came out to repair my U-line refrigerator and because of his "many years of experiance" he knew what the problem was in minutes even without doing a diagnostics check or looking at the works. He advised that the compressor was running but had air in the system so it wouldn't cool. He gave me a repair cost of $1300+. The repair included a new compressor for $700 plus numerous other components. The same compressor, an Embraco EMIHER, can be bought on Amazon for $170 with free shipping. I really wanted this repaired because the unit had a custom matching cabinet installed but the cost was way too high with the extremely inflated cost of parts which were needed? or maybe not. I paid the $130.00 service fee and he was gone. It seems to me that the way Mr Appliance operates it is easier for a repairman to give a high estimate and get a large profit or pocket a quick $130 and walk away in minutes without doing any work.

I was never told Mr. Appliance do not repair Viking appliances. Yet, they sent out a technician twice. They replaced a part and I was told it should solve all the issues I was having with my refrigerator. A few days later I called to tell them the part that was replaced did not fix the problems. When I spoke to the Modesto Office Manager about the problems with my refrigerator, he was very rude and said he could not send a technician out for at least 2 weeks. In the meantime, I have a freezer full of thawing meat that I will have to throw away in a few days. I am very disappointed with his response to my call and his condescending attitude. Obviously, I will never deal with this company again. I believe this company is untrustworthy and fraudulent and will do and say anything to get your money.

We had them come out twice to repair an ice maker in our fridge. Both times he would defrost it and said that he had fixed it. Both times within an hour the ice maker didn't work again. He said he didn't know what else to do but replace the whole door. My husband then googled it and watched two videos and repaired it and it has worked ever since for at least a month and half. I will never use this company again!!!
