Ryan was very helpful in explaining my options for a long distance move. After a 20-minute discussion, he made a recommendation. The next morning I was contacted by a company which explained their services for my move. I was very grateful to have the advice of moveBuddha to help me in this endeavor.

My fiance and I came across Ryan's site and were immediately struck by how accessible the information was - without having to get a ton of sales calls just to have a ballpark quote. This made me actually WANT to talk with him for more information, and I'm so glad we did. He got the ball rolling for us and per his recommendation, we booked a specific company that checks off all our (somewhat particular) boxes. It also happens to be the most cost-effective! Move Buddha is clearly run by someone who has "been there" and knows what people need during the stressful and hectic moving process. I am actually excited to move now thanks to Ryan's expertise and assistance!

Ryan was very helpful. I explained my situation doing a cross country move from NYC and he referred me to ZippyShell. ZippyShell did a good job and referred me to another company for packing help. Everything when quite smoothly. Ryan assisted me by phone and by email and I'm not sure that he even got paid for the referral.

When my fiancee found out about Move Buddha and told me to check it out, I immediately went to the "Our Story" page to find out more information. Having been through 10+ moves in my life I immediately connected with their point of view regarding the industry. It's a soulless, cut-throat, sales-driven process that often leaves customers feeling alone and full of doubt. The next thing I knew we had a call scheduled with the guy who runs the place. What company does that? Who is that committed to ensuring that people have a positive experience? Ryan does. And talking with him helped get our move off on the right foot and pointed in a purposeful direction. The only way to describe it is that we experienced Relocation Enlightenment. In the days that followed, as I talked with the vendors that Ryan recommended, I felt actual confidence. I felt like I had the upper hand. I felt control. I felt....enlightened. In my opinion, MoveBuddha provides much more than the service of helping with the logistics of your move. MoveBuddha sets out to engage their customers on an emotional level before they embark on a major life milestone and in the end, they set your mind ease just as the journey begins.

I moved from Cleveland, OH to Seattle, WA in July 2015. The moving process is confusing and costly at baseline, and then to make it even more miserable, it can be emotionally fraught as well. moveBuddha's thoughtful advice, clear explanations, and well reasoned recommendations reframed the experience for me entirely. I had a straightforward and successful move thanks to moveBuddha's wise counsel.

I've had a couple poor experiences with moves in the past so I decided to do a little more research this time around. I ended up reading about moveBuddha in an article on LifeHacker and decided to give them a shot. I spoke with Ryan and in 10 minutes he laid out multiple ways for me to do my move. I'm a single guy with not much stuff so I ended up picking a moving pod option because of the convenience. Ryan found me rates from companies I had never heard of. Very pleased.
