I have recently purchased the Flex Slim chin mount for my new Arai Quantic helmet. I followed all the installation instructions to the letter because I am like that. As yet I haven't used the helmet with the camera but have noticed that it is not firmly attached in the centre where the camera would be mounted. This despite appearing to be firmly attached during initial installation. On contacting the company I received a prompt reply and was offered a replacement unit provided I pay the shipping cost, which was £12. I was not prepared to do this as I believe I had already paid a shipping cost for a product that in my opinion had not worked. I have tried to rectify the situation by reheating the sticky tape on the mount but to no avail. I have had other mounts from another company and it has more 'meat' where the camera mounts so I will probably have to remove this Flex Slim mount and purchase one of theirs. It is disappointing that this has happened as in principle this mount was easy to instal and moulded to the Arai shape, but in my case failed to attached itself where it mattered in the centre where the camera, which is a DJI Action Pro 5, sits. I took great care to ensure I followed all the relevant installation instructions to the letter, so I cannot account for the lack of adhesion from the centre of the mount. I do not like writing negative reviews, but this is an honest review to make others aware of my experience.

I have reason to be giving this 2 star rating. I was somehow satisfied with this product but 1.5 months in the adhesive 3M glue came lose on the middle of the mount. I followed all instructions provided including the video on their website and even a video of someone else installing on the same model helmet I have. I reported this and went through the whole process of sending my order number, address and a picture of the mount completely removed from my helmet. I’m indeed happy that it seems that for the huge price tag I paid and the late delivery time it took (well over a month) they at least provide a lifetime warranty. But they haven’t confirmed that they will be sending me a new unit simply only thanked me for sending over the details. My problem with this company comes when I wrote a review on Facebook that it wasn’t as safe as they make it seem and the glue isn’t completely trust worthy. I mentioned I would be trying the competition. They seemed to have deleted or hidden my comment purposely to avoid having potential buyers sceptical purchasing. Every comment on that post seem amazed and giving positive reviews. Not one critique which makes me wonder on their honesty. They could like others be a bit more humble and reply directly with a solution instead of simply removing and selling potential buyers a dream. My closing thoughts are: Their mounts are simply not perfect but indeed great if you manage to glue it just perfectly on your helmet but beware it may fail over time and even short period of times. Their delivery times don’t seem to be completely honest neither.
