Unable to Close My Profitable 1000x HYPE Positions — Serious Trading Issue
### ⭐ 1 Star — Serious Trading Issue: I Was Unable to Close My 1000x HYPE Short Positions I experienced a very serious issue while using Moon.com’s leveraged trading platform. I opened **two 1000x leveraged short positions on Hyperliquid (HYPE)**. My market prediction was correct, and both positions reached a significant unrealized profit. However, when I tried to close my positions and secure my profits, **the platform would not allow me to close the trades**. This was not simply a case of the market moving against me. The main issue was that the **close/exit function was not working**. In addition, important position information was not properly displayed at the time, including the **entry price and liquidation price**. The positions remained open for approximately **1 hour and 30 minutes**. I repeatedly attempted to close them, but I was unable to do so. Eventually, because I could not close the positions, they were **liquidated**. During the incident, I contacted **Moon.com’s live support** to try to resolve the problem. The support team initially instructed me to **clear my browser cookies**. I followed their instructions and cleared the cookies, but the problem continued. The live support team then instructed me to **try a different browser and use another device**. I followed these instructions as well. I attempted to close the positions using different browsers and devices, including **both my computer and my phone**. Despite following all of these troubleshooting steps, **the exact same problem continued and I still could not close my positions**. For this reason, I do not believe the issue was limited to my computer, phone, browser, or browser cookies. **I followed the troubleshooting steps provided by Moon.com’s live support, yet the problem persisted across different devices and browsers.** Based on the price movement and my original short positions, I estimate that I could have realized approximately **$2,500–$4,000 in profit** if I had been able to close the trades normally. I have **screen recordings, screenshots, and other evidence** documenting the incident. I also believe Moon.com should be able to review the relevant records of my live support conversation. I am not claiming that every losing trade is the platform’s fault. I fully understand that **1000x leverage carries extremely high risk**. My complaint is specifically that I was **unable to close positions that were already profitable because the platform’s close/exit function was not working**. I expect Moon.com to investigate this incident thoroughly, review the relevant trading records and system logs, and explain why I was unable to close my positions. **Based on this experience, I cannot consider Moon.com a reliable platform for leveraged trading. I strongly recommend that users carefully consider the risks before using the platform, particularly the possibility of technical issues affecting the ability to close a position.** I am prepared to provide **screenshots, screen recordings, and evidence of my live support conversation** to Moon.com and Trustpilot if required.
