After 4 hours of trying to create an account with the submit button doing nothing, there is no customer service, no option to email that I can not set up an account - I have decided I am going to 1 star review you and see if maybe you will call me.

I filed a dispute on July 14th and sent back my documents with the claim affidavit on the same day. My dispute was denied and the Corp resolution team is telling me they didnt get the documents until after the claim was file well yeah because I couldn't just send the documents without a dispute number so everytime it would get denied and greendot doesn't have to give the provisional credit . Thats right at all. I sent documentation on July 14th my dispute was denied until July 22 so they had the documents. Corp resolution center is reentering the claim but I dont get my provisional credit now this is a way for greendot to not to issue a credit. Please dont insult me and tell me to call customer service they aren't going to be able to help me. I have been emailing greendot executive office ,dispute support, message on Facebook and getting ignore called the Corp resolution center and the rep wants to argue with me why have a resolution center if you cant resolve anything. I dont think you are supposed to ignore a customer.

Won’t allow you to purchase cryptocurrency! I buy a lot of cryptocurrency I need a bank that will allow me to purchase it.

If you purchase a MoneyPak, Green dot offers nothing to prove that the money was ever loaded on the card. A purchase receipt from the store is all you receive.They only will offer "card has already been used"if you check status on the website. They claim to offer 24/7 support but I could find no way to talk to a person only an endless loop of recorded messages leading nowhere. Seems Greendot relies on blaming it on a scammers but the more likely truth is Greendot themselves are the scam Currently the Federal Reserve is investigating this on a complaint filed by myself. If you purchase Greendot product and have issues, file formal complaints do not write it off.

Wish I could give zero stars. Bought a money pack. Didn't come with the credit card so now I can't use it. Also said my money disappeared. How convenient. Big scam!!

If I could put zero I would, they don't really care or look at people's complaints at all.

I bought a moneypak card go to register and it says error and the scratch off material they use is the worst ever I couldn’t read the first two numbers so I call no human options call green dot they can’t locate my info to talk to anyone I email them get the run around i finally got an email they will sending it in 7-10 business days and still nothing i got a call back and the lady lost reception they sent me an email saying I hung up like wooow will never use them again

I bought a greendot prepaid Visa card. I used $100 for a room deposit at a hotel on January 19,2025. I checked out of the hotel on January 20,2025. The hotel was only holding my $100 as pending room deposit hold.They released the deposit hold of $100 on January 20,2025 back to me. I called greendot customer service on January 23,2025 and asked why the $100 dollars isn’t back on my card balance. They told me it would take up to 10 days. After 10 days it still wasn’t back on my card. I’ve talked to numerous greendot representatives since then and now they’re telling me it takes 30 days. What a bunch of BS!! what a bunch of scammers they are!! I paid with MY cash to purchase a greendot card!! The Hotel returns MY deposit funds back to My card!! Then Greendot bank holds and uses My cash money to bolster there books for 30 days boosting their bank deposit balances while I have nothing back on my card!!! It’s a scam!!! (The Hotel doesn’t have my money,they already released it back to the bank. the moneys in greendots account)They should be paying me 10% interest if they want too use my cash for 30 days. They’re thieves and should be shutdown!!!! I’ve since researched their company and have read they were fined 44 million dollars for deceptive practices. If a company was found to be deceptive why are they still licensed to conduct business!!! Everyone needs to weigh in and speak up and shout for Greendot to be shutdown!!!!! WARNING: Do not buy a Greendot prepaid card or open a Greendot bank account!! It’s now February 16 and I just was noticed that GreenDot charged me $7.95 for a new monthly fee. No wonder they don’t return your money for 30 days. They hold you’re money hostage for their Fee!! If I would have had my $100 dollars put back on my card promptly when it was returned by the Hotel or even within 5-10 days like they BS ed me they would do, I would have removed my funds at an atm and absolutely cancelled the dam scam green dot prepaid card!! It’s all making even more sense now!! Just to let everyone know they already deducted the monthly fee from the $100 dollars they’re still holding hostage!! Think about what they just did… they told me they couldn’t put it back on my card for thirty days for a bunch of BS reasons and funds would be unavailable until Feb 20,2025 yet they just removed $7.95 from my $100 for themselves. The balance of my $100 dollars is now $92 .They said MY cash funds were unavailable until Feb 20 but it’s absolutely available to them sooner!!! WTF !!! This Bank needs shutting down and the CEO and Bank employees need prosecuting!! Their all in on it!!
