Linda, We appreciate your honest feedback! While we do use a vacuum seal to ensure no leakage, spillage, spoil, etc. we certainly understand the struggle it can cause. At this time, we do recommend a sharp knife or good pair of kitchen scissors, however, please keep an eye out for our new packaging - should you choose to come back and give us another try! We are looking to release new packaging soon after further testing to ensure meals are arriving safely! We do hope to see you again, and should you come back, please don't hesitate to give us a call and we'll get a nice coupon to get started!

Good afternoon, Donna, Thank you so much for this information. We do expect the meals to arrive cool/cold to the touch, vacuum seal intact and refrigerator cold (40* or below), to be considered safe for consumption. We do not use thawing as an indicator of spoil as we flash freeze the meals prior to shipping - this means your meals can be refrigerated for 7-10 days or frozen safely for up to 3 months. After looking in to this matter, I do see that our team responded immediately and did refund your order in full. For future reference, should you choose to come on back, we do label all of our meals on the menu with the symbol of a pepper should they contain a level of spice that is higher than normal. We're grateful for the opportunity to serve you and if there is anything else we can do please do not hesitate to let us know.

As we are all based online, from ordering to account management, we understand it can be a bit difficult to maneuver for some. Due to this, we have an outstanding Customer Care team that is available to assist with whatever you need, 7 days a week from 9 AM to 5 PM. We do not change up the meals ourselves without guidance from the customer as we do not want to violate any restrictions, allergies, preferences, etc. therefore the meals will repeat if not edited. Your health and safety is our top priority! Please reach out to us in Customer Care and let us know about this frustration or otherwise inconvenience so that we may see what we can do to make it a little easier for you - we are happy to help and want to ensure you're having a wonderful experience with us from start to finish.

Our entire line of products is 100% environmentally, people, and food safe. We utilize pea-proteins, water-soluble solutions and the trays are made of plastic #4 which are completely safe for you to microwave your food without fear of toxins and other harmful things happening.
