The food is not very good although healthy. I was sent an order I didn’t order and I couldn’t stop. I did not have funds for this order Now I stuck with nasty tasting food and short on funds for gas money. I stopped the subscription.

Can’t cancel orders and chicken is terrible

I Ordered meals from modify health. Not pleased So far the chicken with mashed garlic potatoes. Was reconstituted abd runny no garlic. Chicken was ok. String beans held up. The next one I had was the chicken curry bland the forbidden rice was just gross. I am not going to order from them. I still have more meals to review. I threw out the chicken curry dinner. It was not tasty at all Iove curries I will not ever order from them again dont fall for what you see online. I just through out the other meals

They have yet to send the food I ordered. They do send food that is inedible. I have received their breakfast eggs sausage meal and tried it twice..both times led to dysentery. Most of their food tastes stale or like cardboard. Customer service is horrible. When I contacted them to complain about the meals they sent, they would not replace the meals or take them back. They said I should fill out my order sooner (I filled it out within an hour of notification). They still billed my insurance company. TK/DR: the food tastes terrible, isn’t that healthy and their customer service sucks

Food is good, orders are allways late. Was supposed to receive an order two days ago and it hasn't even shipped yet.

Fish is over cooked, dry, and a very small portion- probably less than 3 ounces. Veggies overcooked until mushy except for green beans which need a bit more cooking. Chicken is so dry, it’s like cardboard. Nothing is seasoned properly. I am so disappointed with the food as I had hoped that simple food was what I needed but the meals were sorely lacking. Time to cancel.

I ordered a set of meals for someone and unbeknownst to me the service continued for weeks continually charging my account $550 more than the original order. It was not at all clear to me that the service would continue and on top of that the site wouldn't let me cancel the service or delete my payment info without calling customer service. only got a partial refund. they cancled my card but i was unable to delete its info as you can only "update" it. terrible.

I based this review primarily on the turkey meal, which was a 1-star experience for me. The turkey dish I received looked nothing like the menu photo. The representative image showed sliced turkey breast with sauce; what arrived was shredded/pulled turkey mixed into sauce with an unappealing, mushy texture. Presentation, flavor, and texture were all disappointing, and the meal felt very much like institutional food — closer to hospital food or a nice school cafeteria than a premium meal service. To be fair, customer service was responsive, and they promptly refunded me for the turkey meal, which I appreciate. Delivery was also fine — everything arrived cold and on time. That said, there are other drawbacks that add up: A large amount of packaging waste Ice packs that must be discarded or stored (how many can one realistically reuse?) Plastic trays that need to be washed before recycling, which adds friction Significant box breakdown and sorting required Overall, the food feels optimized for medical or institutional settings, not for people looking for real, whole, enjoyable meals. If you’re seeking comfort, texture, and clearly identifiable whole foods, this may not be the right service for you. I’m hesitant to try the remaining meals, though I’ll keep an open mind. Based on this experience, however, this service isn’t a good fit for what I’m looking for.
