The first time I purchased this…
The first time I purchased this fragrance, it smelled almost identical to the original. I accidentally broke that bottle while on vacation, and I was SO upset because it was genuinely that good. The projection wasn’t super strong, but honestly neither is the original and this actually projected slightly better in my opinion. It smelled like a really high quality dupe, probably around 90% accurate. I recently repurchased it during the Mother’s Day sale and immediately noticed a difference. The first spray did not smell like the original bottle I purchased at all. It still smelled somewhat similar, but if I had to compare it percentage wise, I’d say maybe 50–60% accurate compared to my first bottle (Mod Frag) But compared to OG fragrance not a good dupe. I waited about a week and tried it again, and while it doesn’t smell bad, I can’t help but compare it to my original bottle because that’s what set my expectations in the first place. I know some people will say to let it macerate, and I understand that. But because my very first bottle smelled amazing right away, this new batch just isn’t living up to that experience for me. I even thought maybe it was just my bottle, but I smelled my mother’s bottle too, and it smelled the same. It’s missing whatever made the first bottle so special. I understand this is more of an artisan-style brand and batches may vary, but I honestly feel consistency is important, especially for a growing company. If you got it right the first time, I know you can get it right again. I’m still going to give it another chance because I own and love the original fragrance, and I appreciate having a more affordable dupe option out there. I’m just disappointed because I purchased two bottles this time around and neither gave me the same experience as my first one.

Hello Jessica, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We haven’t changed the formula, but slight variations between batches can happen naturally with any perfume brand. The main reason I can think of is the maceration process, especially since this is one of our top sellers and is produced very frequently. Some batches may need a little more time to fully settle and develop to their best performance and scent profile. We truly appreciate your support and understanding.
