I just uploaded one of my original…
I just uploaded one of my original songs recorded in my home studio and a song from a well know recording artist. The results were about the same as a professional major recording artist who's song has sold over millions of downloads. It's a scam. They have their AI model set to just make your song with more or less highs and lows.

Hi Floyd, We take feedback seriously, but calling MixMaster a “scam” is a very serious accusation, and one we strongly disagree with. From what you described, part of your test involved uploading a commercially released song by a major artist. MixMaster explicitly recommends analyzing unmastered mixes, not commercially mastered releases. A mastered track has already gone through EQ, compression, limiting, saturation and other processing that fundamentally changes what the system is designed to evaluate during the mixing stage. Comparing the analysis of a mastered commercial release with an unmastered home-studio mix is therefore not a valid way to assess the platform’s capabilities. More importantly, MixMaster is not an AI model that simply tells users to add or remove “highs and lows.” The platform analyzes multiple aspects of a mix, combines measurable audio evidence with contextual understanding, and provides detailed, actionable feedback across balance, dynamics, frequency distribution, stereo image, tonal characteristics and other areas. It is built specifically to help engineers make better mixing decisions - not to blindly score whether a song sounds “good” or “bad.” We help tens of thousands of audio engineers, producers and musicians around the world, and we take both the quality of our technology and the trust of our users extremely seriously. In fact, we stand behind MixMaster strongly enough that if we could identify your account as an actual user and review the analyses behind this experience, we would happily give you a full year of our complete subscription at no cost, so you could properly explore the platform, test it with unmastered material, and judge it based on what it is actually designed to do. You absolutely don’t have to like MixMaster, and critical feedback is always welcome. But calling it a scam is very far from what we are building and from the experience we work hard every day to provide our users. One final point: commercial success is not a measure of mix quality. There are countless famous, successful records whose mixes could technically be improved -and that doesn’t make them any less great or successful. Mixing is ultimately an art, not a mathematical equation with one “correct” answer. MixMaster isn’t here to tell you whether your music is good or bad, or to replace your ears, taste, or creative decisions. Our job is to give you intelligent, evidence-based tools and insights that help you understand your mix, identify potential issues, and become better at your craft. The creative decisions will always remain yours.
