Maharishi International UniversityReviews of miu.edu

My experience was amazing! The instructors made us all feel empowered and taught the course so well!

Professors are excellent. I would highly recommend a degree from MIU! Truly a wonderful experience.

I am glad I chose M.I.U., there has been so many things that I have learned. So much more that I am looking forward to learning. I have been able to work at my own pace and I have had experiences that have changed my mind set and view of how I have been doing things in my life.

I have just completed my first online course through Maharishi International University and it was absolutely amazing! The course I just completed is called Exploring Consciousness, where we learned about the mind, where thoughts come from, the field of Pure Consciousness from where everything stems, how the health of our nervous system determines our experience of consciousness, our doshas (constitutional makeup) and how to work with them as far as routine, diet, exercise, studying tips; the role of transcendental meditation in the successful spiritual journey; consciousness-based education, creating world peace through transcendental meditation, physics (superstring theory) and consciousness (field of pure consciousness); enlightenment and its stages as well as pitfalls; Maharishi Ayurveda and the doshas - and so much more. The online modules were organized very well, and we were eased into the online student world. Since I am currently attending part time, this was the only class I was taking, but it definitely provided plenty of assignments! We did a lot of writing throughout the course, which was challenging at times, but they eased us into that as well. We had the opportunity to attend a Transcendental Meditation 1/2 day retreat online (which I attended and absolutely loved), and a few assignments required us to display a bit of an artistic flair, which was fun and different. In closing, I would like to say that studying online through Maharishi Internation University has been a really challenging and wonderful college experience thus far, and I look forward to my future classes.

MIU has been a blessing and truly an amazing college. The staff and professors are always helpful. Class sizes are smaller and you have direct support with Teacher's assistant in each class that is dedicated to helping you along the way. MIU offers so much more than just a degree they truly support you as a student, professional and in your personal life though Transcendental Meditation, Life coaching, mental health support and counseling to those who request it.

This school has changed my life!!! Best decision I have ever made. I have nothing but gratitude for my experience and the incredible people I have met.

The course is fun and integrative and touches on a variety of topics that are interesting and enjoyable to learn as presented.

MIU has been such an awesome experience. This is my first experience with online education and the teachers and teaching assistants have been so helpful. They are readily available for any questions. I feel supported and my initial consternation was lifted from the jump. The courses that I enrolled in were so engaging and the topics so interesting that I barely even felt like I was taking classes. I learned such a vast array of information, and the beauty of it is that from day one, I could take whatever I learned and directly implement it in my life. The experience has been so enriching and I am confident that this will continue until the day I graduate. I am so blessed that I discovered this University!
